you can tell an awful lot about a rich and powerful person by the way they treat those in the service industry. A lot. Yes, they are. Also a lot.
They've been laughing far longer than 2016 to the present. The voting system needs an overhaul to represent the people, not the cities. Illinois is redder than Texas if you eliminate two of the 102 counties, but we're bluer than California with them. We need electoral college styled voting at the state level and at the federal level we need to be able to divide the electoral votes somehow. When 96 percent of the states counties vote for one party but one city is able to negate them something is wrong. I can only vote federally against who my state tells me they are voting for. My vote literally does not matter outside of district and local ballots, but I still vote, I just don't have a say on who that is going to be for. There's a reason Millineals and the younger generations want to get rid of the electoral college, and it's not because what they believe, it's what they are being taught. More worthy of the political thread, but I voted Cruz in the primary and Trump twice in the general. Was not my choice, but was my only option. At least Trump held to his campaign promises, even if Mexico did not pay for the wall. Biden has held to his as well, and reversed everything Trump did and we're not a better country for it, not by a long shot.
My coworker that I share office with had her husband test postive over the weekend, she is home with a fever that started yesterday. Both are fully vaxed and boostered. She was at work on Friday. Looks like I will be putting my natural immunity against a potential round 2 to the test this week.
Got home from the ATA show last night. If every single person in those buildings and at those events wasn't exposed at some point, it will be an absolute miracle. The first person on my team got sick this morning and tested positive. They are vaccinated but not boosted. 3 of the 6 of us already had it, 2 were vaccinated but not boosted, and 1 unvaccinated and hasn't had it yet. Took my last at-home rapid test last night for the hell of it, and I'm good so far. I'm definitely putting my super immunity to the test right now.
Herein, the CDC's Wallensky admits the jabs DO NOT STOP THE SPREAD of the virus - only a therapuetic: Apologies to only post this via TimCast, you have to deal with his normal meandering but the fact is she said it - on a news interview. There goes the narrative basis for Brandon's mandates.
here she (Walensky) is with Bret Bair yesterday admitting that deaths *FROM* C19 have been conflated along with deaths *WITH* C19 since the beginning (NY Gov. Holchul admitted the same thing last week) and that actual death numbers *FROM* C19 are 'forthcoming' The CDC Just Confirmed Something That's Been Called a Conspiracy Theory for Nearly Two Years – RedState
I wouldn't consider that a "conspiracy theory" at all. Everyone knew it was happening. The argument has never been IF it was happening, but HOW MUCH of it was happening. Which still remains to be seen.
Should be an open/shut case then for the supreme court to mandate vaccinations. My son's daycare teacher asymptomatic tested positive last week so we are out of daycare again. In the last month I have payed nearly $800 to the daycare for my kids to be at home. I get they still have to pay the employees but that's a big number to be watching my kids myself.
you and I would not, but the Social Media Giant Mafia would ban you for putting it out there. Oh, and I believe that Gov. Hochul said that those numbers attributed to C19 could be overestimated by 60%.
Especially coupled with the fact that the FDA-approved Pfizer therapuetic pill is allegedly 95%ish effective at preventing hospitalization and death it absolutely should, but we shall see how/if/when it's presented to the Court. So far I have been very disappointed with plaintiffs' attorneys' overall knowledge base as to actual scientific data sets in relation to the shots (lack of) efficacy and known dangerous side effects.
admittedly that is a very click-baity headline for an actual news story with good information. Hate it when 'they' do that but everyone does nowadays. A lot of conservative 'fake news' isn't fake at all, but the headlines sure as hell are misleading.
Husband is sick - I think it's just sinuses, but who knows. I feel fine and am still at work (I work in an office solo). He wont get tested - so we'll just play it out. His best friend and his wife and two kids just went and got tested - so we can go off their results, partially, as he is over there quite often.
My son slightly lost his taste last friday, he was a bit worn down but other than that little symptoms.
he gets a fever it's probably more than just sinuses. Regular flu is going around also. One thing that a lot of us get farily early on which seems to be unique to C19 is a weird burning/pressure sensation in that area I noted before, in the roof of the mouth kind of above and in front of the uvula. A lot of people I have chatted with here and IRL talk about it. It's hard to explain unless you experience it.
