I feel something coming on. Slight tickle in throat and clearing it once and awhile, also dull headache. Definitely feel like I'm about to get hit with a sickness just from a feeling in my body. I usually get this feeling when I'm about to get sick, should happen in a day or 2. My 1 daughter is completely normal and acting as if not even sick. Only symptoms she has is a barking cough if she gets worked up from running around. My other daughter and wife are showing nothing as of now. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Sounds like the onset to my symptoms. Scratchy throat on a Sunday, next day woke up with more of a sore throat, 100.6 temp and nasal congestion that when cleared would burn the nasal passages when I breathed in and a mild headache. Never had any stomache bug symptoms, never really lost appetite just couldn't enjoy the food I ate because it all tasted the same Hopefully if you do have it symptoms stay on the cold side rather than flu.
Something coming. At this point I don't care if I get it. Only down side is missing the work I need to get done. Just hoping it's mild and I build a stronger immune system after it. I'm starting to feel warm, but it could be I have been burning the wood stove extra hot all day. Think it's almost 80 in the house right now! Haha Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Hot damn! Just opened the Vicks and thought I had a faint scent but wasn't positive. Opened a jar of minced garlic and caught a slight scent. Confirmed it with a bottle of liquid smoke. Can't taste anything yet, but hopefully that changes when my sense of smell is fully returned.
Eff that, it gets over 73 in winter it is miserable. My brother has heat cranked all the time like that, 78 degrees. I turn the thermostat off whenever I go there, learned not to dress warm for Christmas gatherings
I actually like the house at about 68. Like cold more then heat. I heat the house with wood. Since I've been home the last couple day, I've been over feeding the stove. Time to crack a few windows. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
67 at night and when I'm gone. Get home on a colder evening or wake up I'll bump it to 72 then back down to 68 until need to bump it up again. My downfall is I have to sleep with a fan on regardless of temp or sickness. Wake up with mouth and throat so dry it takes a few attempts to take a drink in the mornings. Usually what gives me a cold and Covid symptoms was same way with a negative test last time.
I keep the temp at 67 in the winter and I never turn the thermostat up or down. If it feels a bit cool I'll cover myself with one of the 967 afghans that my wife has made. Sent from my SM-G981U using Tapatalk
Same here. What I don't understand is why she wants the heat turned down at night when she has 3 heavy comforters and a regular bed sheet on. She goes to bed earlier then I do and complains she is cold when I get to bed. I get in bed and kick one of the heavy things off right away only to wake up a half later buried in blankets because she is hot and kicked them over on me. Then she gets cold and wakes me up because I kicked all the blankets off to the end of the bed except for one. She pulls them back up. Half hour later I am buried in blankets again dying of heat because she kicked them over on me again. Every flipping night we go through this.
It has to be a women thing ...... mine has to have the ceiling fan blowing like a hurricane and wants to crack a window besides sticking one foot outside the covers. Even with a huge king size bed the struggle is real.
Well, I made it a whole hour back at work. Nose started running and started coughing. Likely just the cold air and air quality in the building, but with 25 people out with the virus and no way to be 100% certain its allergies I erred on the side of caution and left. Been blowing my nose constantly since I got home and having lots of phlegm build up. I'll go back Monday, at that point it will have been the original 14 day guidance. Have a feeling this new CDC 5 day isolation is going to be a disaster. Hell, maybe they are trying to spread the less dangerous Omicron in hopes of natural immunity over shots.
69 here. Just kidding. We have it set at 70 during the winter. Never leaves that temp for about 3-4 months. I can't imagine a house at 78 degrees. That's crazy.
