smell is still gone, taste is there but diminished. I can definitely taste sweet and/or salty best. Actually things that weren't salted heavy taste pretty salty, which matches what I have heard other people say. Very slight chest congestion. Other than that, I am fine. No more aches at all.
They actually ended up taking my sister off the vent tube today, she is maintaining blood O2 on just a 30% level into a nostril cannula. I guess she is talking a little bit, although she is pretty confused and out of it. Per my mom it's like she thinks she just got there and is about to be put under and doesn't want to. Had to remind mom that dad was similar after his heart attack, and he was only out for like 2 days. She's been under 3 weeks.

^^^ seen that today, the vaxxes wane fast .. ( need more boosters, and boosters and .. ) .. many have wrote they beat up on ones immune system ..
I won't get another booster, told my Dr. that as well. I can't say the shots worked or did not work as there is no way to benchmark it one way or the other. I was concerned a bit as some get sick for a few days after their second and/or booster shot. I thought that's what it was going to be with the timing. Turns out I was infected the day before I got the booster so wasn't sure how the two were going to interact with each other. I should have super immunity now one would think. I was thinking I go back to work Wed. but it's actually Thursday which I had already put in for a 1/2 day previously. 13 1/2 days off, work 5 hours and another 3 1/2 days off
It did give me the opportunity to binge watch Yellowstone, until football anyway. Show is like Fargo meets Dallas
Found out tonight one of my childhood heroes died from covid. He did get a few years of retirement but damn.
Speaking as one who has experience in both areas, this healthcare worker could not have gone back after seven days. I went back on about my 18th or 19th day after being diagnosed and I thought I was going to die! Sent from my SM-N950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
CDC changed the quarantine to 7 from the 10....but you have to have a negative test. However, we never had to have a negative test before to return as they said it could be "false positive". Nonetheless, a medic took a test, still came back positive. Guess we'll just wait this out. It's kind of odd. Yes, we're very short staffed, but still.
