So I cancelled the company lunch for Thursday, Famous Daves called and could not guarantee that they would have staff to cater. I had the chairs set up at the tables in the classroom and it just looked gross like a covid cafe. 40 people all in one room, nope. Going to do a brief gathering out in the shop make some comments thank the employees and hand out the envelopes and disperse.

I'm still Covid free. I have had 3 different doctors and my wife who is a nurse that has worked with hundreds of covid patients tell me I had it. Yet out of 4 test, none can get a positive result. I even went to the emergency room a few months back and they all said I had it. Nope still going strong. I've had the quick swab twice, the brain jab, and blood work done and tested. I'm not a pure blood.. but I still haven't got it. Had Bronchitis back in September, but had a negative brain swab result when tested.

By all rights I should be the last to get it. Live out in the middle of nowhere. Work on a farm out in the middle of nowhere. Generally only go to a big town once every couple months. My only chance is if the wife brings it home from work. We both have the next couple weeks off for vacation. If I can make it through the next couple weeks with the holidays, I say my odds are really good.
It's people such as yourself that I think they tried to make a big deal about whitetail deer and whatever other animals testing positive. Try to scare the isolated of the isolated into getting jabs by showing that animals in the middle of the woods can get it.
Just tried some Franks redhot trying to trigger my senses, no such luck but was odd having the burn without the flavor. Cooking some lasagna and a loaf of bread, trying to figure out if I should even put garlic on the bread. Definitely wasn't prepared foodwise for a 10 day quarantine with cold/flu.
The only reason I got the two jabs was due to the farm. The boss brings in 2 Ukrainians every year from spring to late fall. Since their country is even more of a joke as far as the pandemic, we decided to get the jabs. Course that was when the jabs were "supposed " to be 95% efficient from getting it and I didn't want to bring it home to the wife. What a fricking joke that was. Did get a good laugh when they said the deer were getting covid. What a bunch of bs.
