My wife is teacher and she has take all the precautions.

Also there is this little item called data. I am not as worried about teenagers ending up in the hospital, it does happen.

While Zach plays we don’t visits granparents and pretty much stay home

It’s really not that hard. We all still may get it and when we were fighting to get back and play.

We had testing and 95% negative test rate for Michigan athletes. 0 hsopitialzarions, you got me I guess

Well yeah you only know how to look one narrow view, so I am not shocked
Choose what you want, my view is to listen to folks like westfinger, dnoodles is listening to the lizard lady who bangs leprechauns. Make your own choice, the fact remains the hospitals are mostly full of unvaccinated people.

For westfinger it's only going to get worse as Ohio has not peaked yet. Yes i think about frontline workers, oh the horror

So I am going to do what I can to stay the hell out of the hospitals. I went with the booster, some are doing the other treatments.

    Some just don't care

on the monoclonals? Very minimal side effects. They've been in use since 1985. Nothing long term of note, very rare anaphylaxis but that's very rare and also easily remedied with an epi shot.

Benefits And Risks Of Administering Monoclonal Antibody Therapy For Coronavirus (COVID-19) - StatPearls - NCBI Bookshelf (nih.gov)

if you were asking about the long-term effects of the booze, well my friend that ship has sailed.

this is now a scamdemic of the VACCINATED, not the pure bloods, the jabbed are the ones spreading the CCP virus(s) ... the vaxes dont work in stopping the spread and that is a FACT !! ... all the lies by Fauchi/O'Biden/govmnt puppets, all this bullcrap over the Moronic scariant which is nothing more than a bad cold or the regular flu .... if one is old, over the hill, multiple co-morbidities and a fat ass, go for it, you are on the way out the door as it is, so if the vaxes dont kill ya, something else will .. it will NEVER be eradicated so learn to live with it (like the common cold and the reg. flu), I know I wont let them or it rule my life ...

I'll take my lizard lady over the murderous St. Fauci any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Least she isn't responsible for the deaths of millions of people. Not to mention puppies.

    hey @Swamp Stalker

how you and Mrs. Stalker doing?

Mrs. Noodles kicked the flu-type feelings and fever overnight, she basically has a cold now. She's doing laundry as I type this.

Not worried about it, from the data getting the booster will do and give me better odds, thanks for your concern.

Check out the vaccine against the new variant. I am not saying don't get vaccinated, don't make foolish choices because you are vaccinated.

I will disagree with you there. Kids are really effed up by all this broadly and generally, and we know that kids are at an effective risk rate of zero anyway. There is a lot of harm being done to those kids who are prohibeted from playing. so there is nothing to be gained by keeping them from playing, and it's good to encourage kids to be social and physically active.

Is your wife old with health problems? Does your kid's grandparent teach at school? Do you also keep your kids away from old, unhealthy school faculty which was the main point when I replied? How accurate is the testing? Our granddaughter tested positive when she got sick. Slight symptoms and felt better within a couple days. My daughter and son-in-law got sick with a lot worse symptoms for days and yet tested negative. Oh and all were vaccinated. Now they have had their first booster.

Your last two sentences are irrelevant to what I was replying to. Fact pretty much your whole reply. I guess what gets me is the double standards we see with this whole pandemic thing. From the heath profession not recommended to get the vaccine at the beginning to getting fired if they don't now. From the vaccine mandates, yet not applying to government that is forcing it. The border fiasco. The vax adamants until it affects them or their kids than it is do as I say and not as I do. It's the I am better than the rest of you so it should not apply to me but you unvaccinated better tow the line.

I am double vaccinated and the wife isn't due to her under laying health conditions. And her doctor did not recommend it for her. She is more scared of the vaccines then covid itself. She saw a few coworkers get very sick from the vaccines with a couple ended up in the hospital. Neither had underlaying health conditions. The one guy ended back in the hospital when he got covid shortly after receiving the second shot.
