What are the backup ideas you have? Covid is bad for people 60 and above, most of the Drivers I am guessing are 60 and above. Thinking in America "People be responsible for yourself and take precautions" "Perhaps I should not drive the bus and stay safe" "We don't have any bus drivers, what the hell."
The over crowding of America. Covid should be a warning to all of us. This isnt the way. Everywhere you look trees are getting torn out and suburban neighbors being rammed through. All for money. Pretty soon we are going to have one long piece of asphalt neighborhood to asphalt neighborhood from Maine to Florida. The government loves this bc it generates the loving tax dollar ...runaway train from hell with self serving interests lead to continual overcrowding. I cant stand AOC but at least she gave Amazon a big middle finger when it tried to continue pounding people into one small area and overcrowding the infrastructure.
I tend to think that a business that operates and makes money transporting kids to and from school would be innovative in it's approach to be sustainable you have to 2 steps ahead of the trend. I do not blame people for not wanting to drive the bus I blame the transportation company and any company who uses covid as an excuse why they can not execute.
Just remember, Covid is not going away so bus drivers won't return if that is their reasoning, teachers want 4 day school weeks and remote learning is being pushed more and more. Single person family income is going to become more and more common as someone is going to have to stay home with the kids during school. There will be financial incentives from the government for doing so. Baby steps to government dependency.....
I hate all these commercials where all these companies are talking about how hard life has been since covid with people crying. Non stop. If you arent dead or have a loved on that is dead from covid then what the F are you crying about?

I find it hysterical. They have pushed mask mandates, even for the vaccinated, because you can still get and transmit it. Even for the vaccinated. The only reason Twat'ter would do such is because they think telling the truth might keep people from getting the vaccine. Newsflash, most have already made up their mind one way or the other. It's time the country goes the way of Colorado's governor and state, "You have had a year and a half to get vaccinated. If you chose not to and you get sick, it's your own darn fault.
