I don't trust models, not saying that it cannot happen, but models are nothing but simulations based on real data put in then extrapolated out to produce a result. I love weather, I follow it closely especially when big winter storms or severe weather systems are forecast. They get realtime data ingested into them. Some Hi-Res models run hourly, others run every 6 hours with 2 of the 4 runs having a lot of realtime data fed in where the other two have a lot less. I get it that science is based on such modeling in a lot of regards, but you're taking a one off event for the most part and putting modeled outputs as the base line. Across the pond they are revising such number to be a lot lower than modeling had projected. In weather forecasting they would call that a "bust", and they happen quite frequently even though the models are constantly updated and ran so frequently with real time data. Prrtty much at initialization you can tell how it is handling the current situation, and the worse it handles from the start the worse it is at the result. Like I have said before, I am doing my part so not discounting it at all, but some of these numbers being thrown out are not going to happen.
Anybody else think China is still lying? Total BS no model produced shows no later slight blip, yet China reports zero new illnesses?

I trust China as much as I trust North Korea with no cases. I trust the origination of this pandemic as much as I trust people who trust China. In short, I would not be disappointed with the sinking of some man made islands made by chinese military in punishment for this and their handling of it from the get go. But that's just me and my opinion.....

hold your anti-Republican reflux for a second- she is specifically referring to Dem governors releasing prisoners by the thousands. Many of them violent repeat offenders. Not a single R governor doing that to the best of my knowledge.

I think the perceived inadequacies in testing is the least of our worries. I would trade all the test kits for an ample supply of PPE.

As far as releasing prisoners, my Republican governor and Republican mayor are talking about that very thing today, releasing certain prisoners. Do I agree with it, who knows. Do I think sex offenders should be released, no. Then again if they turn up dead bc the media let it be known what hotel they DOC put them up in, so be it.
