You can walk down the street with an open cocktail but evidently you need a vaccination card to get the drink.
I walked out of the restaurant in my hotel that asked for a vax card, I’m vaxxed but asking for papers is crazy. I went right out the front door to see homeless across the street and people smoking pot in the hotel doorway. You can’t make this up.
good for you. Most of us 'hesitant' folks don't give a rip if anyone else gets the shots, we just don't want anyone trying to make us get them. But we reserve the right to make fun ya'll when you eventually get Omricon.
hey everyone, I have a C-19+ medical professional resource I will share if you need it and PM me. @pastorjim08 this includes you if the antibodies aren't helping as much as you think they should. My sister is sick AF and won't take the help. She's so GD stubborn, she'd rather wait until the ambo has to haul her off and get murdered intubated.
She was admitted last night and is on O2 (mask, not a trache.) Was down to 40 saturation, which I guess is less than half of normal. She was back up to low end of normal when I went to bed last night. No update from my BiL this AM, but he was kind of being a **** as we were texting last night. Giving him a pass on the attitude as I know he's stressed, but F man I hate when adults won't take an honest helping hand.
40 in O2 saturation? wow, good thing she went to the hospital. Anything below 90 is usually cause for concern. My MIL sleeps with O2 now because her sleep test a few weeks ago revealed she drops into the high 80s in O2 saturation at night. But, she is 200lbs overweight and is also probably in the beginning stages of Congestive Heart Failure because she was also diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia.
Sadly, it hits obese people way harder. I wish the media and medical community would focus more on that message. It would be far more responsible than "Vaccinate Everybody"
The body positive BS does not allow for medical professionals to come out and say don't be fat it causes health issues. It is never a person's fault that they are fat just ask them.
yup. Assuming she pulls through, I hope this is a wake up call to her. She's only 41. She could have a long life ahead of her if she starts taking care of herself.
Why people would not listen, they have said for the last 30 years tobacco causes health issues, yet folks still smoking and chewing.
but there was a culturally cool factor to tobacco. It's never been culturally cool or even acceptable to be fat (at least in the Americas) until the past decade or so. Everyone here over 35 can probably remember back when we were kids, there was 1 fat kid in class, and everyone made fun of him. ...and then Colombine happened.
"My body, my choice" Go run by a Mcdonald's it's always packed, and I don't disagree with you or sota. I have little faith in American people, it's all about me now.
