Heard on the radio (a FoxNews report, not just a talking head) per a pretty comprehensive study by DoD (so ages probably range from 18 - 55; heavily weighted on 18-30) the efficacy of the shots declines abruptly after 4 months. I don't have the exact percentages, but it was something like efficacies of mid-40%s for Moderna, low 30s for Pfizer, and 13% for J&J. (I have no idea how they measure 'efficacy' as again, there is no way to prove an individual negative. I guess they are just using rates, but I don't know if that's infection rates, or hospitalization/death rates. There is literally no way to know anything other than just general percentages on segments of the population.)
Sounds like you never fully got rid of it. Last time I had it, I was 16. It was Bicentennial 4th of July week. Missed it all.
I have had rinovirus infections, but I also never had 'the flu' and have never had a flu shot in my life.
Although we are all partisans on a web forum, I can't say that I have officially met...however, I would not doubt that such people exist, just seems like such a small percentage. And although you may have never gone to a Dr. for confirmed flu, I would bet there is a pretty good chance at some point you still may have had it, and your bodies immunities fought it off. As for flu shot, just to add to the mix, interesting that flu season always seems to start right after they start administering flu shots...
My wife has had it several times. If I had it, I would have known. Like I said, rarely get sick. Had a cold this spring....first time in about 4 years. My illnesses run to the "intestinal" stuff. Crap like a goose for a good 24-30 hours and done.
best weight loss method ever. I lost 15lbs in 48 hours once. Do not recommend, however. I also had a cold 2 weeks back that I thought was for sure gonne be the Rona. Unfortunately not, as I was over it in 3-4 days.
quoting myself to correct myself- it was a VA study rather than DoD (so the ages of those in the study trended higher and also high percentage male) and I misheard the Moderna and Pfizer numbers- they decreased BY (rather than 'to') 30/40 percent to about 55% for Moderna and mid 40s for Pfizer. J&J was reported accurately at 13%.
Notice it says IMMUNITY ... on a SINGLE dose .... however, what I dont see is its availability to the general public ... of course not, Fauchi and his cronies cant make money off it Regeneron's Antibody Drug Shows Protection Against COVID-19 for Up to 8 Months ..... Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc said on Monday a single dose of its antibody cocktail reduced the risk of contracting COVID-19 by 81.6% in the two to eight months period following the drug's administration in a late-stage trial. The results showed that antibody therapy, REGEN-COV, has the potential to provide long-lasting immunity from COVID-19 infection, said Myron Cohen, who leads monoclonal antibody efforts for the U.S. National Institutes of Health-sponsored COVID Prevention Network. Such immunity is particularly important for immunocompromised people and those not responding to vaccines, the company said. The U.S. health regulator in July expanded REGEN-COV's authorization to enable its use as a preventive treatment in people exposed to infected individuals, and those at high risk of such exposure in settings such as nursing homes or prisons. It was authorized in the United States last November to treat people with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 disease. https://www.newsmax.com/finance/streett ... d/1043700/ https://investor.regeneron.com/news-rel ... matic-sars an 81.4% risk reduction during the first month after administration.

Yesterday I was feeling superior for never getting the covid, now I feel sad and left out for not getting an invite to the party. Who is your favorite celebrity that has battled covid?
Easily Rogan. Because he beat it without the stupid shots and has F-U money and a platform he can speak on it without getting canceled. Second place: @Justin
The best thing that has ever been said to Sanjay Gupta “I can afford people medicine MF’R!” Now Arron Rodgers in a close 3rd behind Justin.
I will admit I admire Aaron's F you attitude at this point he did what he did he offered a second explanation and said he was sorry. If you are still offended get over it.
OTOH He plays a team sport that has no provisions for makeup games. Enough people get the rona and they forfeit the game. You want to be the one who takes a pay check away from your team mates?
