Yep. Most of us were vaccinated in Jan-February, so we're really running low on antibodies Glad to hear you and your family are staying relatively mild through it all.
I hope you and the rest of the family make a speedy recovery. It is weird how it affects people differently. We are confident our four-year-old brought it home from day care as he had an upset stomach and was really tired a couple of days about a week before my wife and I started having symptoms. All I have had was a stuffy nose and a slight cough that lasted about three days. Never would have thought is was COVID and I didn't get tested until after my wife tested positive. My wife had all the symptoms except the fever, including loss of smell and taste. Our older boys tested positive but did not have symptoms at all other than one saying he lost his sense of smell for about two days and was fine after that.
Well my wife texted me this morning, she is taking the booster.....pretty much means I am taking the booster.
I’m at a trade show in Rochester New York right now. They are offering everyone little tags that say “I need space” to stick on their credentials tag and also “handshakes ok” to stick on your credentials. I have not seen one I need my space tag but I’d guess 50% have handshakes ok stuck on their name tag. The overall consensus is it’s time to get back to work. Everyone knows the risks and has done what they feel necessary to mitigate risk. I’d say the average age is >50.
Saw those at a trade show in Milwaukee about a month back, it is time to get back but on the other hand my coworker was double vaccinated he was very mindful about not getting exposed, he even still wore a mask to go in any store he went to. If he can get covid anybody can get covid.
I don't know - I am okay with "I need space" - I would have had that on pre-covid. I cannot stand people being elbow to elbow. Give me my imaginary bubble space.
Correct, so why does anyone care about it anymore. Could have your coworker masked better or vaccinate better? Are we going to be able to go back and look at this two year period of time 5 years from now and pick out things that were good ideas and things that were not such good ideas and accept the responsibility for decisions that were made?
I dont want the vaccine but I want for it to work for everyone else that uses it. I hope it's perfectly safe. I dont want to even think "I told you so"(I'm not like that anyway). I want it to be 100% effective and safe.
Sure you can. Everyone thinks they can't, but they can. The world will not stop just because you're out for a couple of weeks. Take a break. Go hunting. Enjoy life a little bit.
Simple solution, go to work and kick everyone else out of the office for two weeks Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
So I did not want to go to my wife's brothers this past Saturday but I went and drove so she could drink and enjoy the night. It was not a horrible evening. Fast forward to today. Both their kids tested+for covid. In Venatione Veritas
I think i read he had other complications as well. At his age id say he was near the end of the rope. I thought i may be getting something on monday. Lightheaded feeling and my vision was off. Slight headache as well. Slept for 10hrs straight and symptoms were still there but barely the next morning. I told myself i would go get tested if i didnt see improvement soon and i did. Back to normal. Not sure what to think about that little spell
My wife had both lens done...separate surgeries a couple weeks apart. She wears cheaters/readers as needed.
Release the Kraken...... I'm sure this will allow Pritzker to extend his Emergency Powers a few more times
