My entire family has the vaccine. That was their choice. I dont want to get one. I have plenty of reasons. One of the main reasons are my two youngest kids have immune issues. I also have two generations of diabetes in my family. All of that has to be genetic....so what if I get that disgusting shot and now my immune system starts going to hell?...arthritis...diabetes...etc. That scares the hell out of me. I'm almost 47 and nearly everyone I know takes medication for something near 50. I dont. The shot scares the hell out of me. It's not about Dem or Repub to me. It's about that shot is disgusting.

    Not "him"
    "They".

He is but a sheep that bleats more loudly and frequently than the other sheep when herded by Them, but is herded nonetheless.

When it comes to what do I have to lose - a lot. I am young. have two autoimmune disorders and a long family history of extensive cardiac issues with me two years ago being diagnosed with a-fib. I am against the mandation (I'm not against the vaccine for others - your body, your choice). We should not be told what we have to have in order to work. I work my full time job, I volunteer on borough council and volunteer in the fire department. (I've been front line both paid and volunteer through all of this!) I do my share to help others in more way then one. Now, I am going to have to give up my livelihood (YES it is a livelihood!) - because I refuse to get something because I don't know what it will do to me. Even my doctor, whom I made an appointment with couldn't give me a straight answer. They've been my PCP for over 20 years. They know the ****-show family health history we have going on. He couldn't tell me one way or another, because it's a gamble. Noone knows what it'll do to anyone with any prior medical history. Only because, there is no long term research. Until that is done, or more information comes out about the Norovax, I am not getting a jab. I will give up my job and go work at a place for a fraction of what I make now. I may be young, but I make damn good money and only loan I have is a slight one for a home....and guess what! My parents taught me never have your bills more than a minimum wage job can pay. I am not dumb, I am not stupid. If I was fired tomorrow, I'll be okay. But, this is my livelihood. This is a job I enjoy. I am the third generation running this in a sense starting with my Grandfather being a volunteer co-founder. So again, yes, to you it may not be a livelihood....but to me it very well is.

7899 people have died after getting vaccinated, not from covid.

Just ask Germ what he would do if the schools mandate vaccination to participate in sports? Would he let his son get the shot(s) over his physicians reccomendation? Would he sue the schools in hopes of getting the mandate quashed? Would he pull his son out of sports and make all the time and money he spent on his lawsuit(s) pointless?

Or is he the only one allowed to play hypotheticals?

One of my best friends and his wife who is pregnant with twins both tested positive. They are unvaccinated. Both are doing ok so far very mild symptoms. They only caught it because she was having a procedure done which required a neg. test.

But do you? Because 99% of every post you lump as all into the same category.

I'm not here to argue with you - because I value everyone's opinions. But you just think all of us are "drama queens" that it's pathetic to think this will effect our "livelihoods" and so on....however, your son - although younger than us is in the same boat. Add 20 years to him. Would you be putting those same titles on him?

Woke up with a slight bit of pressure in my ears. After getting hydrated, the overnight congestion is gone. Breathing is good, pulse ox levels are outstanding. Other than occasionally using OTC theraflu to help relieve congestion, all I have done is drink lots of OJ and take extra Zinc.

I am about to take my kids out to play football. We played about two hours yesterday.

If nothing else, quarantines helped many families get in on time they once didn't have time for! Glad you're feeling well!

Where did I state "drama queens"? Seriously I was messing with Dnoodles a bit and then ask a question to you and Brett.

As for my son, I would hope he goes to the doctor to get advice as we did. Being he's a pretty smart kid he would do so I believe. He would make the best decision with the information he has. Which you and Brett have done also. My son also might state, "I have a medical exemption go pound sand"

I was more giving Dnoodle crap but was curious as to your choice and I guess I don't see the issue. You obviously have a medical exemption even if you did not and wanted not to get it, have at it. I was curious as to your reason, you gave one or could have told me to go pound sand.

Dnoodles is going to fight this in court perhaps, guess what I have already been in a fight the money is insane.

First, we raised around $65,000 for the first case, which our group lost. Which we challenge MHHS authority to shut down/mask sports(anything), the court ruled with the states, sort of. They left a hole about it being a recommendation and not the "law", it's a recommendation.

Now through this pandemic schools and health departments have been qurantinine kids who were in close contact. If a family asks the group would donate 1000.00 to the family and our lawyer would handle it. I have sat and watch these cases, we have won 100% of them. The kids were allowed back in school if they had a negative test.

We are now on our second and third lawsuit(0-2) you can more and triple that $65,000 in cost, we have around 50,000 members splitting the cost. I happen to like dnoodles and was just pointing out another viewpoint. Is he willing to lose pile cash for this fight, if he does not have a medical reason is the cost of this fight worth it to him? Losing his livelihood over this would be a shame, there are some fights you fight and some you don't. I would not put my families well being in jeopardy over this shot, I myself(dnoodles) have worked pretty hard to get here. That's what I was asking and giving him **** about his tough talk. It's one thing to talk about it, but actually doing it is another story. Reminder I actually went and consulted my doctor about getting it.

3600 + have died because they went to work and helped people, that number is not lost to me, nor is the ones who may lose their jobs because of this mandate or who quit because they are burned out. I try and look at both sides of the coin.

Germ, if the doctor told your son not to get the vaccine for health concerns but his school required him to have it what would you do?

My Father is in this boat right now, he has a heart condition that his Dr. is concerned with adverse heart reactions to the vaccines, he has held out until now. My mom wants to travel internationally so my dad is getting a shot tomorrow.
