I know when my wife tested positive, (rapid test day after 1st onset of symptoms), it took me 4 days before I felt first symptom. Then the following day got hit with almost full gambit. I never went for test as it was pretty obvious I had it, kids never got tested and they never seemed to show any symptoms, although our youngest did develop slight fever day after wife did, so perhaps that was his run with it. So you could still test negative, and come down with symptoms in a couple more days (depending on when your wife got sick and became positive) I suppose.
They cared for all when the vaccine wasn't available, you care about them not being overloaded so much that you think their personal medical choices should have them terminated and create strain on the system.
Germ is currently fighting the state in court to allow his son to play soccer. His family physician is also against his son getting the vaccination due to his underlying condition(s). Germ's stance on this will change, yet again, if they mandate vaccination for his son to continue in sports/school. He has a right to make a decision for his son, but you do not have a right to make a decision for yourself. Typical liberal hypocrite
I had symptoms for five days before getting tested. I never would have gone in for test if my wife had not had worse symptoms and gotten tested. The thought that this is COVID never would have entered my mind if she had not lost her sense of smell. It just has not been that bad. I hope it stays that way. But, at this point I am comfortable with my choice.
Germ, you know what you are doing and we know what you are doing. We know your stance, nothing that I or anyone else say will change your mind. That's ok. I would rather there be more healthcare workers than less. If a healthcare worker has to chose their job or the jab that is medical tyranny. Their choice will not make me any less safe.
I’ll even go as far as saying that if my children’s doctor’s suggest they get vaccinated for covid I will gladly do so based on their recommendation. That shouldn’t be for the government to decide for me.
FYI overloading the system causes workers to leave also, which has happened. This is not life-altering as some make it to be, it's mostly just drama for some. FYI my sons doc told him not to get it, my issue is 90%(IMO) are not seeking advice from a doctor then acting like their worlds going to end because of a shot.
If Dr. "A" suggests to get the vaccine, but Dr. "B" suggests not to...whose advice should be taken? If Dr. "A" suggests to get the vaccine because of current health status, but Dr. "B" suggests not to because of current health status...whose advice should be taken? When those is the same field of expertise are not all on the same page, how can the general public be? And if you aren't seeking 2nd or 3rd opinions, shame on you. (general statement) Close friend has recently been diagnosed with Cancer...but his first diagnosis was non-cancerous. 2nd diagnosis was inconclusive. It was the 3rd and 4th opinions that stated he had cancer. Stage 3 pancreatic even, which has about a 3% survival rate at 5 years.
You just keep . Laughing ,there are a bunch of people with medical issues that their Dr. Said no do not take that vaccine. They are not being allowed to sign up for benefits! Being a woman that took a drug during pregnancy that I was told was safe and it was Dr. prescribed, then it was removed from the market due to harm done to babies . I find your attitude offensive and foolish.
Works if you have less than 100ppl...but don't forget about this turd in the punch bowl... https://www.forbes.com/sites/adaman...enforced-by-fining-companies-70000-to-700000/
Those of us fighting against the mandates are fighting for our personal rights. Your "but what if you infect someone else' hypothetical is BS, for reasons already stated but also take the same logic and apply it elsewhere with even greater statistical relevance... The only ones acting like the world is going to end are the CovidCultists who refuse to acknowledge the fact that 95+% of us under the age of 70 who get it are under no real risk of serious illness. "90+% of people in the hospital haven't had the shots" yeah, but 95+% of 'unvaccinated' people who get it are completely fine. 95%+ of gunowners will never commit a gun crime. But those that do cause immense harm to public health and the economy. We should obviously ban/confiscate guns by force. 95%+ of drinkers never drink and drive. But those that do cause immense harm to public health. We should obviously ban/confiscate booze. See? there is literally no end to the application of the (il)logic. It can literally be used to justify every single progressive agenda.
@PinkPony puts her life on the line every day and especially so since the scamdemic began. Probably for a lot less than you make, BTW (no offense, PP.) You have no idea what she, @virginiashadow, and both Mrs. Noodles and I daily put on the line and what we stand to lose as a result of these mandates. After everything we have done, everything we have given. The thousands of active duty military, the hundreds of active Navy Seals, the thousands of nurses and doctors; the tens of thousands of federal, state, and local LEOs. Guess we should all just Learn to Code; that way our biggest concern in life is our (hypothetical) kid's next basketball game.
my aunt has been battling it for almost 10 years. She looks like hell, but she's still in the fight and smiling every time I see her. I didn't much care for her as a kid, but as an adult...She's an inspiration.
Positive test confirmed as suspected. Off work until Monday since I have quarantine until Saturday night.
