Buddy at work was diagnosed with the COVID. No symptoms so he enjoyed a 10 day paid vacation.

Looking like I get to get the nose jab today. 99% certain it's a common cold by the way it started, just depends on what my work requires me to do.

Trying to keep it out of my lungs, but getting a little chest congestion this morning.

Damn it, just came back out and swabbed for strep. At least that was just a throat poke.

Now have to wait outside until they call me in to be seen by a specialist. No copay yet, forgot to ask about that.

Should have the rapid result before I leave, but still have to wait for the brain jab swab to come back.

Here we go again, going to need a complete set of new shots, while still getting the booster I'm sure.

    Rapid test for Covid- Negative

    Swab for Strep- also Negative.

Looks like common cold it is, as long as the deep swab comes back negative.

Still waiting to see the damn nurse, just got my email notifications for the test results.

Finally home, nurse seems to think it might be allergies. Won't know for certain until get results back from lab.

Came home and downed a bottle of water, wasn't expecting to be there 2 hours, started coughing and the water came right back out. Luckily was in the batgroom at the time as there was no stopping it

I'm right there with you. Stinking allergies and now a head cold. Hard as hell staying awake on the third shift when your energy levels are below 50% . Last night I did hours if calisthenics just to keep my eyes open. Tonight may be worse.

Better Sept. 6th than Nov. 6th.

Not sure if Covid pay ended with the unemployment incentive bonus yesterday or not.

When Delta came out they gave everyone an additional 80 hours.

Be nice not to have a check 30 hours short. Was going to go in and let them make the call, but no way I could this morning. Body aches starting up now, lungs on fire and severe sore throat.

On Allegra, script nasal spray, Max strength cold and flu nyquil, chloraseptic spray and cough drops. Notbsure if I need a nap or a 1/2 mile sprint
