IMO all this is, masking of kids and vaccinated, is to force the vaccine. Trying to piss off the ones who got jabbed enough to start coming down on those who have not. Their messaging is awful, even worse than the "it'll disappear, like a miracle" from Trump. At least back then we had mostly unknowns with it. Now they make it pointless to get the vaccine, still pushing for masks anyway. I'm waiting for my tele-tubby of a governor to make his decision. Quite possibly will cost me my job if he states indoor workers require masks, depends on how my work wants to enforce it. I will not put on another mask outside of still required Dr. visits.
Say what you want about the vaccine. There is no way that the current administration would have had a vaccine out faster than Trump did. They have incompetently handled or straight up ignored every issue that they have faced so far. I don’t think they would have handled corona differently. Then you might get one as people have short memories. We have one in Nov, so I doubt we see any closers or mask mandates. we have a few lawsuits in progress
I'm still looking for that realtime proof that masks actually made a difference. I have yet to see anything graph wise that shows when mask mandates were imposed to a large decrease in infections. Surely someone can find something that is not speculation based or politically biased. I'm willing to bet you can find more correlation to the current surge in cases and the surger in ellegal immigration than you can in mask mandates and a drop in cases.
Lets fact check the "fact checker" shall we? From less than 24 hours ago.... https://www.theledger.com/story/new...r-record-highs-across-polk-county/8091537002/ Snippets: Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center had 179 people hospitalized for COVID-19 as of 1 p.m. Monday, of which 11 individuals required use of a ventilator, according to spokesperson Sandra Roddenberry. That number nears the medical center's record high of about 190 patients reported so far during the pandemic "While the rising number of hospitalized patients is evidence of the risk still posed by the virus in our community, it is not cause for alarm in terms of hospital capacity," read AdventHealth's press statement.
Seriously, anyone else find that image odd? Why would someone sit in their car or whatever cropping their picture and putting a border around it with a header for text? My guess is the image isn't even a Covid related image, at least not a recent one.

The continuation in the attack on a potential GOP Presidential candidate in DeSantis. Forget Cuomos disaster that actually let in covid in NYCs ports and Airports. He didnt want to act or be called racist or at very least, pro American. So he just left people to party in the streets to celebrate Asian festivals and told the President he was racist bc he had analyzed where covid was coming from and limited travel to and from those places. But hey, attack Florida. Where people duly elected their Governor and the vast majority want their state wide open, covid be damned.
Do you guys think they haven't put any commercials out for the specific vaccines because they would be required to list the side effects? Unless they do have commercials and I just haven't heard about them or seen them? I do not have TV so that could be the case.
I work in a county of a half million people and with travelers running some of the biggest highways through it, that number may pump to over 600,000 at any given time. On any given night I'm at the hospitals dealing with all sorts of things. I routinely see 3 to 4 ambulances in the holding area and a dozen people in the waiting rooms. It isnt abnormal at all.
FYI she's a conservative and loves the gov, it's just a picture of a busy hospital, second Bransdon her son is special needs and got in and is doing fine as of this morning, It's amazing how one picture sets of emotions isn't it?
