Headed to the school board meeting tonight, but it looks like Parent Choice will win the day, also being this is an election year for the Gov of Michigan I will be interested to see how she follows the science when her job is on the line. Also, interesting is the unemployment fight for my daughter. Not yet, it is an anecdotal observation from patient data in the hospital where I work. I am not in patient care, so it is second hand from people that are in patient care. Fully vaccinated people are being hospitalized with the delta variant. I don’t know specific numbers, but it is happening. Rumors are as high as 30-40%, but I cannot verify that. If that is rumor, it is probably lower as rumors tend to grow with the telling. I truly hope it is lower than that. All the beds designated for COVID patients were full as of yesterday.
My understanding is that the question is a normal part of intake for admitting someone with COVID, so the answer should be yes. But, as I stated earlier, I am not personally asking the question or seeing the hard data.
I'm just going to bite the bullet and inject some bleach. I've got a stainless steel marinade injector that should do the trick.
We all know that the only people getting the Delta is the ones that didn't get the vaccine. Because a vaccine by it's very nature makes it impossible to get covid. By the way, is anyone else seeing the drug commercials now advertising their products as vaccines for"whatever". Then explaining the percentages of it's efficiencies. It's a pretty predictable tactic. Change a word then saturate the masses with it's use until it's common place.
Interesting. Haven't heard mention of this anywhere. Only the contrary, but of course, who knows anymore.
So, if full disclosure, I did some digging, most of the in hospital patients are not vaccinated, upwards of 90% is a better number. There are fewer vaccinated people admitted than I previously thought, I am glad to know my earlier rumor of 30-40% was in fact, a rumor. Most vaccinated people will do quite well, but, some are still getting sick. But, they are recovering faster. Unfortunately, it is too early to say, and well beyond my knowledge, to speak with more authority on it. In the spirit of not offering further speculation and rumors, I will not pass along anything that I can not 100% verify.
