Look at all the "fun" stuff in this article. Former FDA head who is now a leftist media contributor and is also on the Pfizer board. Keep your heads up and attentive Americans, we are getting played by both sides of the aisles with big Pharma and the media working together. The scare tactics are escalating.....the "delta" variant will spread amongst school kids this fall if you Americans dont get your shots and then your yearly booster. This has nothing to do with money and big Pharma linking themselves to the healing of all mankind. Think about that kind of power. What they wont tell you is science actually created covid 19. If one were to believe that then one would not believe all science and its offerings are to be loved. Bad image for our saviors who are making trillions. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cn...riant-will-spread-more-easily-in-schools.html
So question I've not heard addressed: Why are incidences and death rates so low in most African nations, relative to the 'industrialized nations'?
Certainly obesity & hypertension likely are factors. My son who worked in ICU for 18 mths would probably tell you of innumerable patients who were not obese. India and Brazil may be comparatives. Indonesia also relatively low.
correct on all and also they typically have shorter life expectancies than Western nations so they have less elderly to infect/kill. Especially men.
I would not be surprised if people in underdeveloped countries had better natural immune systems than those in developed countries where medicine is more easily accessible. At the risk of sounding cryptic, probably those with weaker immune systems have been gradually weeded out by previous pandemics that have never made it to North America. Those left alive probably have stronger immune systems than those in nations where pandemics are rare occurrences. Wouldn't that be some enlightening research if true? Yeah, and they are definitely not obese or living to as old an age either, as others have already mentioned.
I hate how the media reports just throwing out what seems like a large number but when you look at the % it is not a bad thing.
I love how they save these nuggets of info for deeper into the article. Yet another "news story" that isn't really news at all. Fox News sucks as bad as MSNBC.
I had some down time last time I was on the road. I left the TV on Fox it was not long before I said this has got to go it is garbage.
Could you imagine if they used that info for the Headline and not clickbait or fear mongering headlines? CNN has their main headline on how those who are not working may not want to go back to normal. They like to use Leading headlines, not leading the news but leading the narrative and opinion of people. And as I predicted way back last year when the $600 unemployment bonus was snuck in, people would not go back to work to earn less than what they were getting on unemployment. Still true even at $300. This is still only the beginning of the debacle, wait until inflation really kicks in.
Pretty much all headline writers perform a literary bait and switch; regardless of platform or agenda. I can't tell you how many times I have read a story on Breitbart and thought about the headline "that's not at all what the article is really about." I understand these sites have a demographic, but sensationalist headline writers really do good journalism a lot of harm. Maybe a good ad business model but it's really piss-poor for public service which is what real journalism is supposed to be.
