didn't want to post this until he was in the clear, but my father had been + and symptomatic since Tuesday night. He's got like 3 serious co-morbidities.

(He also tested at a CVS and got a false-negative, but the CDC called him the next day and said the lab had reported him +. Still no explanation from CVS, but I digress.)

He's already on HCQ for his RA but on Friday he started to feel really bad, feverish, weak, and his lungs were to the point he was and could barely wheeze out 3 consecutive words without having a coughing fit. He started taking Mom's prednisone and by Saturday night all of his symptoms except coughing were gone. He's pretty much back to asymptomatic asides from being short of breath under exertion.

His arc seems to mirror most HCQ treatment trials- HCQ plus prednisone appears to be very effective.

    Quote from Biden...

"If you are vaccinated you can do more things more safely indoors and outdoors," the president continued. "For those who haven't gotten it, this is another good reason to get vaccinated. It’s about saving your life [and the lives] of those around you; it's about getting back to normal life."

Won't be long before it is made mandatory and you have to carry your vaccination passport on your person. I'm sure they've already got their registration of every person who has received the full vaccination and are creating a government issued ID so that it can't be forged so easily as the vaccination record cards.

Hope I'm wrong on it, but I truly do not trust today's(or anyday's) government and the "wokeness" in America.

So * thinks it's a good thing that the number of elderly people of color have been vaccinated exceeds that of elderly white people.

I am not sure what that means except it's a totally effed up way to think about things one way or the other.

Just another "justifiable" attack based on race.

I'm White, I'm middle aged and I'm vaccinated. I voted Trump and would/will again.

Will I need a vax card to vote? Or is that still racist?

Possibly, will depend on your voting history.

You will need that vax card irregardless. That will become and essentially is your "in country" passport and mobility license.

Voting still has a few "work arounds" to go through.

    They'll let you know though.

I'll give you guys a money maker listen up.....
Ever cottage industry needs to eventually evolve. Masks are no different. People fear those without masks even though vaccinated, and or with contact antibodies, give them masks. Go buy up mesh material edge binding material and make "masks". Have you ever seen a mandated mask description, no . So make some money and produce and sell post vaccine masks. People are still distancing so who will really notice, especially if skin colored mesh is used. Everyone can still "feel" safe. Me, I have camo mosquito mesh I'll be doubling up and making into a mask.
