Had my first vaccination on Saturday. Moderna. Scheduled my second shot and am looking forward to it. For some reason Oklahoma’s supply of vaccine has outdone the demand. Yesterday they had a no appointment, just show up, no age restriction event at the fairgrounds. One of the guys in the warehouse and a couple of salesman were able to go get their first round.
since there is little to no evidence it does either your point is moot. you say potato, I say fascism posing as science.
Randomly chosen... last week we had a group sign up with several other manufacturing facilities to be distributed yesterday. At first all of the slots filled up very quickly but at about 2 pm we received a phone call saying there were slots available and if you want it come get it because they didn't want to waste any... at this point in time if you want to get it and you can reasonably access a phone or computer you can get it.
I got my second vaccine last Friday. I felt kind of crappy Saturday and was still a little slow on Sunday but back at it hard on Monday. So far, so good as far as recovering from the long-haul issues. I had an executive physical last Thursday in Des Moines that started at 7am and ended at 1:30 in the afternoon. CT scans, ultrasound of heart and abdominal aorta, treadmill stress test, complete bloodwork, pulmonary testing, in addition to normal physical. When all was said and done, all was excellent. Doc said I must have gotten my mother's genes, as no male on my father's side has lived to 70. So, I got that going for me.
I've had 1/2 dozen older family members get vaccinated and they all reported the same thing - fine on the 1st shot, felt like crap for 1-2 days after the second shot, then clear sailing from there. I have a small request for Bill Gates - I'm wondering if they can tune my microchip to help me with target panic/buck fever.
I get my first shot tomorrow. The wife isn't thrilled about it after seeing a coworker getting pretty sick on his first shot and another coworker's boy friend getting really sick after both shots. She said if I get sick, I better not whine to her about it. Thank God for this place for whining should I need it !!
It will be interesting being O- chances are if I did get covid I would be asymptomatic so will it be the same with the vaccination?
It may take me longer to recover from being called "older" than it did to recover from Covid. Thanks for the gut punch you disrespectful young punk.
My first shot, sore left arm for two days and that was about it. However, I did have the urge to update all my current Microsoft products...
I know a guy that felt a bit tired after his first shot so he took a nap. When he woke up he could speak Chinese fluently!
This Virus is so over for most, We drop our mask restrictions April 6th, March 31st the vaccine is open for all (Indiana) and schools are in session and have been other than Spring Break .. Ive been able to get the vaccine for several weeks .... nope, I'm still waiting ..... Id rather get that Lyme vaccine in a few years than the Covid vacc. ....
