443 covid cases diagnosed yesterday in Minnesota, pretty close to the same number per day from 1 year ago.

*Lab confirmed cases* no one is talking about a year ago, in order for every 1000 deaths there were likely 80,000-100,000 cases.

Eff it, let's just get things back to where they should be. I'll add whatever my percent of a percentage is to get closer to whatever changing goal post Fauci sets it at.

I'm sure we'll be facing something again by midterms anyway.

Getting first dose Friday at 12:15

Texas is now mask mandate free and 100% open. This will be interesting.

My brother is an ER nurse in DFW. Other than work, or when a business owner requires it, he quit wearing a mask in public a few months ago when Texas loosen up to masks in public being a suggestion. We went to church with them over Christmas, in a service with close to 1000 people, I would say only about 25% were wearing masks. We never wore one in restaurants while we were there. This is less of a headline than it is being made out to be.

I wear a mask when I buy gas 3 times a week, I wear a mask if I go to the grocery store 3 times a week. I wear a mask at work when I enter the building to my office then take it off, if I come out of my office I have a mask on. Tell you what this winter as a business we are saving a fortune not paying sick days it has been very rare that an employee is calling in sick.

I wear one in the Grocery store as it is a statewide mandate. Other than work, which I have ceased now, I don't wear them unless I have to go to a business other than the grocery store.

At work, I am not going to sit at my machine for 10 hours 25 feet away from the nearest person and wear one. When Pritzker included manufacturing jobs I'm certain he deemed everyone of them assembly line type environments. Not the case here and he can piss up a rope.

I am going to dread going back to being clean shaven, dress clothes, and the airport. My wife was on me about wearing my old beat up jeans to work, I told her she was jealous because I didn't have to pay extra for the holes in my pants.

Yup. I maybe shave twice a week now, and will (eventually) have to launder my dress clothes that have sat for a year collecting dust...if/when we start traveling again.

I definitely try to stay middle of the road on much of what I read, but CNN, is so predictably doomsday/anti republican in their writings, it's laughable how they spin good news to be always be bad. Like, can't it just be a good thing that COVID numbers are on the decline, restrictions are being lifted (which many healthcare officials and epidemiologists support, by the way), and we're hopefully returning to somewhat more normal circumstances?

I like to visit their page every now amd again, it's kinda like reading the comics section, can usually find one or two good chuckles.

If it works for TX and MS I'll call it now. There will be a headline that reads in some fashion..

"How President Biden's Decisive and Swift Covid Handling Allowed TX and MS to Reopen With Minimal Issues"

The math just isn't adding up... J&J EUA doses should just be rolling out today...

Sum of 1 dose administered + 2 dose are not equal the total administered.

Also 2 (doses) * number receiving 2 doses + single dose are not equal to total delivered... Granted on this point, there may be unadministered doses in inventory. 20210303_132033.jpeg

Quit using real math, it confuses the liberals. That is why it is being replaced with Common Core estimations.
