Got home last night and it was confirmed that one of my son's had direct contact. His science teacher is one of the 8 teachers who tested positive this week. Unless something has started since I left for work this morning, he is perfectly normal. If it is going to affect us, I assume we will know by the end of the weekend. The whole school is going virtual through the end of next week.
Many of my friend's that are in the medical field received the Pfizer and had no side effects (even on the second dose). I received the Moderna and I had some as did my wife.
Will it never end?!?!?? An even more contagiousieriestier strain, even more contagious than the contagiousiestier UK strain I can see it now, the flu is dead, from now on we have to get annual Covid Vaccinations.
You forgot the Brazilian stain too. I think Asia is next in the rotation for the most contagiosiestierest strain...it couldn't come from the US, because Joe has his pen and EO ready to prevent, along with Jen "Circle Back" Psaki (Google and watch the vid, if you haven't seen it)... And yes, good chance for sustained revenue, uh, I mean annual shots for covid.
Our local schools have all been open since the start of the new year this fall. They require the kids and staff to wear masks once they enter the campus while going to their classroom or work station. Once the kids get to their classroom the masks can be removed. They wear them anytime they walk out of the classroom, such as going to the cafeteria or gym. No parents or anyone without a necessity to be there are allowed on campus except for conferences. There have been a few kids and staff that tested positive, and they send out emails to all parents that are on their email list a weekly updated chart showing which schools have "x" amount of positive cases and whether they are staff or student. Anyone that tests positive, plus people they were in direct contact with, isolate for 10 days. No huge spreader events so far. Kids seem very unlikely to develop any symptoms from what I read. My 6 year old certainly had to have gotten it when I had it but never had any symptoms whatsoever. He did stay home from school and quarantine while I had it. My wife is the same, she certainly had to have been exposed to it when I had it, but she never had any symptoms. She was already working from home so it was business as usual for her. She has O negative blood, which we were told by our Pediatrician that he's reading in Dr.'s journals that NO person with O- blood as been found to date that has developed symptoms from C-19. They can get it and many have tested positive for having it, but they just don't develop symptoms. I wonder if anyone is digging in to why that is?
I have heard this as well. I am hoping the same is true for O+. I am O+. My son had exposure at school with his science teacher who tested positive earlier in the week. Both my kids are doing virtual school until 02/10 as a precaution. So far, no one in our family has symptoms. If we stay that way through the weekend, I think we will be okay. I had two exposures at work last summer but never developed symptoms if I caught it.
I'm just gonna leave this here...my wife mentioned she saw this gaffe when it was live on the air, but it's hard to find as most videos vía msm have since been 'fixed'
I'm here for my vaccination appointment, not sure why they told me it would take 5 days to receive as they are hooking up an IV to a 55 gallon drum of vaccine
Just drink a gin&tonic or a vodka&tonic. I guess if you don’t like gin or vodka just drink the tonic. Quinine is the same as what is active in what is recommended. You might need a substantial larger amount of tonic to match the dose but hey, free drinks
I have O+ blood and got COVID in early December. Only symptoms were headache/body ache for two days then loss of smell and taste for 10 or so days.
