My wife would buy you a punch in the nose for saying that. If only I could repeat the stupid things people do after they or a family member gets a test for covid-with symptoms I will add.
Daughter and son in law are positive. Assumption, granddaughter is also positive. Wife was negative on the rapid test.
Hey now! We have mask mandates in place to keep us safe. AND we shut down indoor dining. Clearly, the government knows what's best for us. Stop thinking for yourself and do as you're told. It will be much better that way.
My own data up to date today from MN, I believe that our data is OK at best. My mom would not have taken a test, she would have done the 2 week quarantine protocol since she was exposed but not experiencing symptoms. It was her 85 year old mother that wanted to know about the mail in test procedure that convinced her to take the test. In Minnesota younger than 65 the mortality rate with the confirmed numbers (cases and deaths) is 0.2% 144,115 cases and 336 deaths. I fat fingered a 3 in the under 5 category for covid deaths. it should be 1 and read like below. cases deaths survival survival rate 3,120 1 3,119 99.9679%
Now I am going to pull a Germ. I don't care about the survival rate. Tell me how many people survived and now have damaged lungs or heart. I doubt there is any tracking on that. Cause that is sort of like a surgical urologist saying their favorable (patient didn't die) outcome rate is 95% but forgets to mention that x % have incontinence, y% have erectile dysfunction. Sorry! Those are NOT favorable outcome cases. The patient just survives the disease.
I don't have one. All these complications come after the person has be "cured". Wish I did though. I have read that treatment protocols have changed since this started. They are keeping people off the vent longer due to using steroids more frequently before taking that step. That should help some patients from developing lung issues. Everything that they have learned in the clinical settings have helped to push the death ratio down. If I had to get this virus, I would rather have it now than in March/April.
She would punch me for telling the truth? I am not accusing her of manipulating data but I do not trust the state or federal gov't when there is funding tied to positive cases.
Today was day 12 and finally turning the corner! I was able to sit outside in the sun and have been awake all but a couple hours today. That was a horrible 11 days. Avoid Covid at all costs. You just never know. I am fairly thin and in good shape and I had some really scary episodes for days and days. Stay safe.
Good to hear, Fletch. That's what is so crazy about this. You never know how your body is going to respond to this one.
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Hopefully it's in the rearview mirror and youre actually rounding the bend
It could go the other way. Assumed positive but never any symptoms, have to isolate for 10 days...in a tree of course.
