Here's my MN number spreadsheet updated as of yesterday. straight off the CDC website MN has gone through 3 rounds of "surveillance blood testing" meaning they tested peoples blood for antibodies that were in the clinic or hospital for non Covid related issues and the numbers show that the actual number of infections is likely 4-6 times higher than what is laboratory confirmed. Yesterdays number 81,225 x 4.3 = 349,268. 1860 deaths / 349,268 = 0.53% *** Keep in mind in Minnesota the 4 counties that surround the twin cities account for approximately half of all of the Covid numbers in Minnesota. They also account for 1,435 of the 1860 deaths in Minnesota. Outstate MN "Rocks and Cows" our governor calls us. ~41,000 cases x 4.3 = 176,300. 425 deaths / 176,300 = 0.21%

the models used to shut down MN said even with medical advancement there would be no fewer than 14,044 deaths at 1 year. We are 6 months in, to reach that number we need to average 67+ deaths daily for the next 6 months.

The numbers in yellow are what we have shut our schools down for.

    Follow the science!

Sorry, I don't get around here on the forum like I used to, priorities changed I guess. Been busy with crops and livestock. I bought a new herd of cattle back in June and have been working on intensive rotational grazing the main livestock farm. Also went through my first lambing season in May and still have my sheep flock/dogs. I still had a crap load of fence to build before the cattle arrived too then had to dive straight into bean planting. I guess I couldn't lose money fast enough with just crops, I had to jump into the livestock world too, ffs. :busted::sheep::deadhorse::confused:

I don't recall giving a dislike but I certainly may have. Usually takes something pretty extreme for me to do though.

It finally got into the nursing home that my mother is in. It started out with one resident testing positive with symptoms on 9/1. Then to 12 residents and 4 employees on 9/5. Then 4 more employees on 9/8. Then they did mass testing on the 9/10. After the testing they had 7 more residents and 6 more employees test positive as of yesterday night at 8pm. It is really starting to run rampant and getting out of control. The bad part is that one of the positive residents is my mother, but so far she is doing ok with minimal symptoms which is surprising since she is still getting treatment for breast cancer. Hopefully it stays that way and she has a speedy recovery.

Tried to call my son in the city last night, he did not answer he texted back that he was out on a pub crawl with his wife. I was going to mention to him that his mother would appreciate a visit, after hearing about the pub crawl stay the hell away with your city germs.

I may have the covids, not sure. The ranch owner I manage for and rent farm ground from came down with symptoms Monday night after he was down all Monday and we were doing fall management burns. The other guy that does handyman stuff on the ranch, his wife works at a local courthouse and tested positive and has been running a 100+ temp. I've had abnormal sinus drainage the last three days...pretty tired today but didn't sleep well last evening. Guess we'll see how it goes. Landowner hasn't had a very bad go of it yet, is feeling better today he said. We were using different vehicles for the burning Monday, shared a vehicle ride once at the end of the day to check the last of the fire going. Otherwise I had pretty limited exposure working outside.

NOW I know where I seen this guy before. He does some ridiculous Kardashian parodies that make me about pee my pants. I made my wife watch him once and she lost her mind.

Interesting thing about the mask debate and where the covid hits the stat that the media will not broach. If you are a liberal living in a liberal city your odds of getting the covid are a lot higher than a conservative not living in a liberal city.
