To bad its hitting conservative states and people are dieing, it was all so much easier when morons had all the answers and blamed the liberal states
I seem to recall someone saying a couple months back how Floridas govenor was showing the country/world how to handle a pandemic. Ah the good old days.
October 3rd cant come fast enough. 20 feet high with the wind in my face, bears running around disrupting my hunts, and social distancing by a half mile to the nearest person.
The issue about kids the stats leave out is simple one. They were one first groups to be quarantine and were not in school. Point was brought up from a dad, I never thought about that. So does that .0016 transmission rate might just be junk data? I don’t know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Germ or you other Michigan guys what going on in Traverse City. Thinking about heading up for a long weekend in August. We're cool with masks we just want to be able to go out have a nice meal, drink or two etc etc.
Mask required but Northen Michigan is in pretty good shape. They are in phase 5 so everything is open just require a mask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
that's asinine. Illinois blowing up again as well. Covid numbers, too. Well, as much as we can trust those numbers anyway.
@dnoodles Just for you, not sure if you know this guy, he just puts a different view on the data. https://twitter.com/EthicalSkeptic/status/1285791696412971008/photo/1
thanks, yes I think I have screen shot some of his graphs here before. If I haven't then I have at least thought of it but probably got distracted He does have interesting data sets and conclusions thereof.
:disclaimer: I'm a data nerd for a living The thing I find fascinating about this graph and our county (Mecklenburg one of the dirty 50 (go team!)) are the peaks and valleys. In this graph, you see dips on a weekly cycle. Why? Are those weekends, representative of folks escaping jobs where they are exposed to more people during the week? In out county we have the 180° opposite graph, with lulls for 5 or 6 days and weekly 1 or 2 day spikes. What's going on with that? Partying on Friday nights or carousing in the parks on Saturday with everybody else trying to escape?
His level of accuracy seems pretty consistent on the field and off. Jk Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
And then the clown sat in the stands with his mask on his chin right next to 2 other people, that is why people question the mask BS Germ.
Yes one was his wife, ooh the horror. Any excuse people will look for, so was it the entire game? Or was it a time where he perhaps I don’t know took a drink, honestly good, lord.
All I ask don't be a hypocrite, one was his wife who was the other? It only takes 1 to spread. No drink in his hand either. Good lord why the staunch lemming like excuse making?
If you don't want to wear a mask don't wear one, if you don't want to listen to Fauci, then don't. Sota you're a big boy make your decision and stick with it. I don't take my recommendations from Fauci, I take them from Dr. Drake a family friend for 40 years now. Why? He was head of a COVID floor at Henry Ford hospital for March/April and part of May. He's given us some direction and that's what I am going to follow for what's best for my family, you do the same. Am I going to get bent of shape because of a picture of Fauci at a game with his mask pulled down, no, because I am an adult an in fact if I was at that game with my wife and family friend and that much space around me, the mask would have come off and I would have enjoyed the game. At some point reason and sensibility need to come into play, I realize in this gotcha world we live in it's not going to happen. That's why the guy who was ant-mask in Ohio and posted it on Social Media and was all over the place stating what a hoax this was, well he died of COVID, it's not an I told you so, the guy had kids, breaks by heart to know his kids lost their dad. I bet he was a good guy, but he made his choice. Thanks for thinking of me again, make me feel loved.
Thing is Germ when you have the history of flip flopping like he does and then he insists on mask wearing and social distancing and then you are seen on TV ignoring your own advice or dictate, that is problematic for me. I have issues with people that make the rules but do not follow them. Tony was living the elitist life style getting to go to a game when nobody else can sitting in the stands not wearing a mask and no empty seats between him and his guests. It just does not set a good example. That is why many people have issues with people in Washington DC.
