If you applied that logic to every other occupation that has been working through the whole pandemic the country would be gone. We’ve kept grocery stores open, so that must mean shelf stockers don’t matter either right? Same goes for police, firefighters, public transportation drivers, restaurant workers etc. None of them must matter. Local stores around here are starting to mandate masks now as well, including our only grocery store. The wife is on the community's facebook group and was called a murderer then a Nazi simply for having a dissenting argument. Our county has very low cases and has not mandated masks yet. I'm not on FB at all anymore for just such situations. I don't pretend to know any "facts" and feel no one really has a good grasp on this. My point is this. Why can't the politics get removed from a situation where facts and lives matter to a life or death degree? I firmly believe that politics has muddied the water so badly and now here we are. No conversation on why I don't want to wear a mask. No conversation on why I do want to wear a mask. Just a bunch of angry, confused, scared people yelling at and insulting each other in real life and in digital life.
