You're more traceable. Facilitates marketing, consumer analysis, fraud, patriot act, intell and other functions.
Course, since 96+% of US citizens have a cell or smartphone. 70+% with one or more credit cards...y'all are pretty traceable anyway (let alone video analytics, in store beacons, thermal monitoring, loyalty cards, shelf monitors, online buying, cookies, purchased information, geocode extrapolated data... Yawn)
Yep, does it really matter anyone knows I shopped at Lowes and bought some lumber when I die? No. Everything I have that is important and private is on a laptop that has and will never be on the internet.
Yes on the purchase, key to inventory control, supplier management, supply chain, profitability (consumer, store, product) and such. But would you care or Joe 6pack care, no. Your social media also identified you were in the store and they sold that info and other info they collected. You delude yourself if you believe you have privacy.
“When he says open, he means open in full, kids being able to attend each and every day at their school,” McEnany told reporters at the press briefing. “The science should not stand in the way of this.”
I binged on his stuff during quarantine. He’s hilarious, I would love to see his show in person some day.
Pretty interesting all the data that is put together and bought and sold based on our online activity etc. “Everybody lies” by Seth Stephens-Davidowitz is a pretty good read on the subject.
this will break the heart of all the maskers and wokesters out there .... https://www.sott.net/article/434796...rators-do-NOT-Prevent-Transmission-of-Viruses
here is another good article on HIT (Herd Immunity Threshold)... yes, it is real and it is happening here and other countries/cities have already went thru it ......#getthekidsbackinschool https://off-guardian.org/2020/07/07/second-wave-not-even-close/
she clearly misspoke and meant "does" instead of "should." Literally in her next breath, and the entire point she was making is was that all studies show children are at no real risk to C-19. Every study has shown they are at less risk to C-19 than they are regular flu.
Stores here are now requiring masks starting later this month. I'll wear one and comply when I need to patronize their establishment. Wonder if they would care or feel even more unsafe if they knew the mask is now 10 weeks old and placed in many pockets and covered with many objects while sitting onnthe truck seat for few months. It's all about perception, if I look like I am being safe and care about you, I am a good person. One store, I seen as I was exiting today, is setting up a temp check station for entry. If I'm asked a question when I go in "desparado'ed" out, I'm going to answer I'm likely asymptomatic but have never needed tested, no. I bet our resident spanner wrench even believes in mandatory vaccination as well. Only fools of the world believe that Covid-19 is some super virus that will never end without 100% vaccination of the worlds population. Worse case scenario we end up with Influenza C or similar termed annual flu bug. Trumpers are Lemmings, wonder what Wuhan'ers are? Obediants'?
.02 or .02%? (hint- it's the number that's less than seasonal flu deaths) Children are also proven to be inefficient vectors of the virus. So there's that. But I did hear one interesting proposal- any teachers who were old or had a high risk condition could telework/VTC using college-aged student teachers in the classroom as proxies to facilitate. Give young aspiring teachers college credit and classroom experience; under the eyes of experienced teachers, get the kids back in school, allows the parent to go back to work if possible; and what little transmission does occur helps build herd immunity. At the end of the day schools are opening across the world and there is no evidence it is causing significant health risks to children or teachers.
