Sorry, I don't have time to listen to C-span all day. While I appreciate you finding that link; I have very little interest in anything Dr. World Genius Dr. Fauci says as a matter of public policy. As he himself admits, he is not a public policy expert and not an economic expert- he is by his own claim a public health expert...and so far not a very good one at that. His predictions and modeling in his own wheelhouse have been wrong at every point. And That rate of "kawasaki syndrome" type symptoms in children is minuscule. As in statistically almost non-existent. I don't think I have a narrow view at all- my view is the exact opposite. I think we should open nearly wide up. People who are older than 65, with co-morbidity factors, stay at home as much as possible. Take all precautions otherwise. The rest of us, we will just have to live our lives with another disease that has very little effect on us than any other flu. Job loss, suicide, drug overdoses, domestic abuse, starvation...all will exponentially exceed the death rate and public health costs of the actual number of people infected by and killed by the virus if we don't get back to work and living our lives. Those are just facts.
Since it would a appear we getting closer to the first case here, suppose I should disclose the prize. First person diagnosed receives a gift card to Old Country Buffett.
Big difference in the total discourse. One is complete and the other is tailored to a narrative and half truth.
It’s hard to believe but America’s top Infectious Disease Doctor Anthony Fauci has been wrong on the coronavirus pandemic — Every step of the way! Here is a list of several errors, contradictory statements and dangerous gaffes by NIAID Director Dr. Tony Fauci: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...g-devastation-us-economy-based-garbage-model/
what's the narrative? I didn't provide any other context and didn't use it to support a "side." I was just linking it because I found Sen. Paul's statement and point of view interesting; especially given his triple-threat role as a physician, statesman, and victim of the disease. Dr. Fauci's response was also interesting but I hadn't seen it yet and it also does not substantively contradict what Sen. Paul said in regards to public policy.
pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft if only you knew how many hats I wore today. I mostly post on here whilst on the crapper.
Well that explains your stinky post, bam. Sorry you teed that one up for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't have as much invested in this as you do but I don't think Fauci's response changes the flavor of Paul's statement. It was a simple statement, nothing more. No offense but I think the vast majority of this thread is full of narrow views, agendas, with some personal attacks tossed in for good measure.
Yeah the whole world has changed! I'm just not sure how this rubber gloves wearing masked man can survive the new world... J/K.. I'll be just fine! As Hank Jr. says a country boy will survive.

Fauci is a twit, he'd be perfect dressed in a Gestapo uniform .... he HAS been wrong on many multiple of occasions as referenced by the article I posted, which Trial didnt touch on (he attacked the messenger(the writer/site) again)... Heck, Fauci said early on he wanted to shut this country down completely for 18 months or till there was no longer any virus at all, meaning he didnt care if this country collapsed, it wasnt his worry ... he is not a statistician, he is not an economist ... he is looking to make millions with Bill Gates when and IF there is ever a workable vaccine ... it is also now coming to light, or has came to light on how far off the mortality rates are compared to actual numbers, Birx said they are off by as much as 25% .. ..... During testimony before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci stated he is “cautiously optimistic” that a COVID-19 vaccine candidate will get an efficacy signal, but said, “there’s no guarantee that the vaccine is actually going to be effective.” ...... this country can not put its hopes in a vaccine or shutdowns .....
The narrative that fed you only half of the equation/ discussion, which was the intent, pull the pieces out that fit the narrative share it with your tribe members so they repost it.
Maybe the senator should tell the president to be humble? Contrast Fauci's coments to the presidents comments this week. "We have met the moment and we have prevailed," "I've felt things a lot over my life, and I've made a lot of good calls," I saved hundreds of thousands of lives. And Anthony Fauci admitted that," Trump said in an interview on Friday with "Fox & Friends."
