For the second time Comcast has shut off our Internet because we got a neighbor on our property. The neighbor adds Comcast and they shut ours off because they decide that they can have our apartment #. No one calls us to see if we want to shut off our Internet, it's just gone. No one at Comcast can comprehend what has happened even though we can tell them exactly what happened and exactly how to fix it. I hate Comcast. I hate their horrible customer service. I hate their condescending employees. I realize hate is a strong word but it reflects how I feel right now. Rant over.
I switched to AT&T the first chance I got, and AT&T charges about 1/2 of what Comcast wants to charge for tv.
The easy fix still hasn't been resolved. I spoke to a "supervisor" today and he gave me his name and direct line and told me he would call me back in an hour. He never calls and I get his voicemail. He left for vacation today and would be back in a week. Its hard not to use excessive profanity with these people.
Document and don't pay them. Just spice things up... go cut all lines. LOL I had comcast in Maryland with no problems really... other than the kid next door worked at NASA and had a bank of computers that would use up all the band width. Now I have Time Warner. I even switched to their phone and saved $30 a month.
