I have one on the river that goes through our property and ome on a water tub I burried, but it isnt very big so I am sure that thing is dry. I havent put any on the ponds yet and I am kicking myself still.
I have a few cams on water holes here,it's been so hot I havn't checked cams in a while. It was 106 here yesterday so i am sure there getting hit pretty hard, I dont put cams on the water of the river there are just too many people up and down them.
I have one out parallel to a creek that has been soaking since April. I will be checking all my cams next weekend hopefully the 2 bucks I'm after are on one of them.
well it's going to rain,I started preping my boat for a few days at the lake and it getting cloudy out and there calling for rain the next three days here off and on..If i knew thats all it would take to get some rain i would have parked it in the drive with the cover off it all summer!
I am a little worried about the camera on the river, but it was an older camera if some one decides to take it. On the upside there can be some good deer pics and pics of ladies tubing in the heat
today it has dropped but sat was africa hot here. I need some lake time..nos bottles full, set the lash put me in the water.
Yeah I have one on the creek, got a picture last check of some people coming in from our side fishing?? No pic of them getting out so I dont know if they noticed the camera and went out another way? The camera is on private property but the creek is the divider to Public property so I have been worried about it a little bit...We'll see this week.
With a river, 5 or 6 different sloughs, a lake, and the remainder of the land being swamp that holds water very easily to begin with I don't specifically put cams over water. A couple of them that are up right now are in flooded areas though.
I keep a camera on a water hole almost year round. It is my best spot for getting pics. EVERYTHING needs water.
