Started counting yesterday morning. Woke up about 4 am, unable to sleep anymore. Walked into the living room and looked out the window. There was a nice doe standing broadside 30yards, in the neighbor across the streets yard eating acorns now that the snow has melted.
Right now my focus is on Turkey season. Once I get that out of the way its all whitetail on the brain all the time.
Once turkey season is over, I'll start my deer season counter. My turkey season opens exactly 2 weeks from tomorrow morning. Can't wait!
Always have a countdown going...my current countdown is for the leftover Turkey tag sale in WI (Mar 21 @ 10am).
No countdown here, I just transition from Tines to Tusk, here in my area. This is my off-season fun, putting hogs on the ground. It helps in keep the skills honed in.
I got 1 week till beardsgiving starts. Hope to get my first bird this year with a bow. Hell I still need to spill first blood with my new bow. After that it's to the coast on the kayaks for redfish, trout and flounder.
There's always a countdown, or two...or three. Turkey is next up (4 weeks for me)...Deer are next. But I only show one countdown at a time to keep it more palatable.
