$3.50 gas should still be news and would be if a republican was in office. I would like to have Clinton gas prices also :)

I really miss Clinton and the days when the president tried screwing the interns instead of every American!

The media complained about gas prices a lot while Bush was in office but do not while obama is in office. The price was a reality at that point too but I guess things have changed. The price of gas hurts the economy probably more than anything else and should be talked about daily.

I remember paying as low as .69/gallon in GA when I started driving in '96. Miss those days.

Obama has said he wants our prices to rise to the area of 5 bucks or higher a gallon. He wanted it to raise gradually to lessen the impact and allow people to adjust for it, but that is his goal, and his policies have aided in making that reality. $3.50 does not have to be reality. It certainly was not reality when the commie took office. Prices certainly spiked under bush, but they did recede. I want some of them congressional hearings the Dumocrats insisted on when bush was president.

Here is a link to the reference everyone wants to cite. He didnt say it, but his energy secretary said something along those lines in 2008 before coming secretary, and yet Obama still appointed him. A little conjecture is needed to make the case against Obama, but I do believe that Chu did speak for a large faction of the Left including Obama, but that is an opinion, not a fact.I. His comments.

There is always a drop in gas prices around that time of year. Some years more dramatic than others.

Maybe switching over to winter blends has something to do with it.:)
