I live in the sticks and to drive to town is about 20 minutes. However, Iowa City is a pretty big town about an hour north of me and that is the town in which I work. They have a terrible deer problem from what I understand. I may check into it this year. I've heard reports of many "big bucks" living in town. This maybe the year that I check into it. Watching "Deer City USA" on t.v. only makes me wanna do it more.

I hunt within the city limits of Calgary (population of just under 1.1million peopel). Last year that is where I shot my deer and my dad shot his deer. Also where I got the pic of the monster on my trail cam in early june. Still can't get a pic of him since. There was a deer hit by a car on the highway by the land I hunt but I never made my way out to see if it was a buck before it got cleaned up. Better not have been him.

If you can get a picture of him I would like to see it. I would prefer it to be with a arrow in him, but would settle for just him standing in a field. I love the excitement you get from seeing pictures of big bucks that are available to shoot this year. Good luck with him.

I'm not inside the city limits. in the suburbs. I know people that hunt within the city, but they generally sneak into thier spots and keep them very secretive. It is very difficult to find spots within the city.

They just passed an exception to hunt inside the city limits of Sioux Falls, SD because of all the deer/vehicle accidents. There's a 700 acre chunk they're issuing 70 tags for. Could get pretty crowded in there!

I've taken down quite a few in the city limits. They are a nuisance to my brothers garden. I try to do my part and harvest at least a family of doe every season.

My best spot this year isn't technically in the city limits, but if I aimed high enough in the air I'm sure the arrow would come down on city turf, I'm a few hundred yards into the county zoning.

never hunted near a town or city, but thats why those animals get as big as they do, they don't feel threatened plus most places you can't hunt. ya I hope that deer didn't get hit jayB that your after. that is every hunters worry, if a hunter doesn't get him a vehicle might?

I live in Arlington and have been seriously considering participating in the urban archery during early bow season. Thing is, I'm new to the area and do not know many hunters. I was wondering if you might be able to point me in the right direction in finding some hunt-able areas.
