A trophy deer is still a trophy deer even if it's not registered in a book. Pope and Young is about a lot more than record books. If you don't like their rules, either don't bother with them or join the club and vote for the rule change. If everyone on this sight would join the club and vote next fall in favor of lighted nocks, it would more than likely be legal to use them. I don't use lighted nocks but I do think they are a great idea and should not be banned from the club. I do not however think that they are a necessity to shoot a deer. IMO, a crested arrow is just as good.
P&Y? Heck I'd just be happy to see a legal buck...:p . Seriously though, I like to use lighted nocks so I wouldn't qualify anyway so I've never worried about it.
I could personally care less..... never even really thought about it. Last thing on my mind pertaining to hunting.
I still have the forms on my desk from last years buck. I have a few that could make it yet never pursued it until my best one last year. After some time though, I just didnt really matter to me. He is in my living room, I get to look at him every day, that is enough for me. Having my name in a book really doesnt mean squat
