Come on, name somebody that can beat the Cowboys!!!!! My Cowboys are tearing Green Bay up, bet you wish you had Farve right now! Go Cowboys.... I have spent the afternoon drinking beer with guys that think the Eagles are the top of the NFC and its nice to see the Cowboys showing their power against a team that they are suppoosed to loose against!
Giants as they still are the defending superbowl champs. Funny how you wait until half way through the game to talk smack.:smash:
When the cowboys stop choking in the post season come and see me. Whens the last time they won a playoff game? 19.... what year?
NFC East is by faaaarrrr the best division in football. And I've said this over and over before the season even started. And in previous seasons. I don't think the Giants are the team to beat this year. A few losses to their defensive line don't bode well for them when playing a re-vamped and superior offensive line of both the Eagles and Cowboys. But you can't disregard the wideouts they have.. they are just great. Giant wideouts who make both Philly and Dallas secondary look like kids. These guys are huge! The Cowboys have the most depth and offense. But their defense lacks the skills needed to get it done in December. "All go" in early September.. but will fade like the leaves in fall. They're fast.. yes.. but not great against a running team who goes right up the middle. And the remaining schedule for them will see planty of teams running up the middle. Football is all about match-ups. The Eagles are the most dangerous of all the teams in this division. A fast defense that blitz.. blitz.. blitz. In fact they sacked Benny Roth 8 times this past Sunday and only held them to 6 points. Not counting the Dallas game thats 9 points in 2 of the 3 games they've played. The loss to Dallas was a surprise to me.. but I didn't feel like Dallas won.. but the Eagles lost. There is a BIG difference in that. The Eagles problem is lack of depth and no wideouts that can really play the game. If they had 1 real good wideout.. this team would destroy teams. McNabb is healthy again.. this team will return to its dominance it had in the 2002-2005 seasons. The skins are the team I would fear the most as an opposing division rival. Capable of playing poorly one weekend then cranking it up a notch a taking a team over the next. Both Dallas and Philly need to prepare for these guys and not get complacent. It will be a battle. But I agree that although the better record goes to Dallas. Philadelphia is the strongest team in the division today (right now). It may change week to week. You can score against Dallas.. but as the season progresses I don't know how well teams will score against Eagles BIG D. Offense will always get the glory. But defense wins the game. Perfect example of this is last years Super Bowl. (which by the way i called in early October of last year.. and people laughed at me). (JZ can vouch.. he knows how well i've picked them over the last 6 years.)
I guess the Cowboys didn't fear them enough!! That's just to bad!! I can't stand the Cowboys- reason being Is Jerry Jones and that a-hole Terrel Owens! Romo Is cool and Is damn good, the other 2 I mentioned drive me nuts!
I also like the boys. Especially Romo. I mean, Jessica Simpson, AND Carrie Underwood. Nothin' but respect.
