No dice in Colorado. OTC unit was packed! Talked to one hunter who said the elk all seemed to exit 2 weeks ago, likely to private or a nearby draw unit with less pressure. The decent sign we found was in some real hellholes.
Thinking I'll get an over-the-counter cow tag to fill up the freezer. Last time I tried for a bull it took me 5 years. At least I can just go and hunt my back yard for one I don't need to make a drive somewhere. Been seeing bulls in the velvet and some cows around so I put up my game camera a couple of weeks ago. Now I'm interested in what pictures I got.
