Congrats on the doe, that's awesome! I saw a buck chasing and a little sparring fight this weekend. Pretty cool. This morning I shot a coyote. Good luck everyone

    Congrats on the doe!

I almost got a shot on a good 8 point last night. Grunted him in, but no shot and then he left. Saw another shooter chasing a little bit too. Bucks are on their feet.

It's been slow here guys, just checking in. I'll be hunting a new farm for me this year within the next week or so. Hoping things heat up. Lots of good bucks starting to show up......

I got a call to help locate a doe that my buddys uncle shot this morning. Couldn't bring a dog in per land owners orders. Well horrible shot placement, all paunch, not much blood after the first 30 yards. 3 miles later my buddy Dave and myself found her. What a rough morning, a lot of rocky moutainous terrain but in the end atleast she didn't go wasted. I hope to never have to trail another one like that ever again.

My girlfriend's family and neighbors both have chickens and they have been having problems lately of raccoons getting their chickens. Even one of their favorite rosters ( he was a small bred roster). Set out a few traps this morning and already got one. Regardless I always feel remorse for any animal that I must take life from.

Congrats on the coyote Shane. They are not easy to kill with a bow. Good job

Right before I was getting down yesterday afternoon I heard chasing & grunting going on right down the ridge from me. Too dark to see anything. We need some colder temps to get this thing going good.

Had a 130 and a 125 come in to rattling last night, they ended up fighting. They started walking in range and then they smelled something they didn't like. Couldn't have been me as I was downwind of them

I was going to go out this morning but unfortunately it is a torrential downpour until 10 o clock this morning and I don't have a tree umbrella. I am going to buy one next week. I will be out all day tomorrow though. Good luck today gentlemen.

Tree umbrella? Not a bad idea, I'm pretty wet right now!

I am definitely buying a tree umbrella this week. I was going to last week but I didn't think I would need it again. I am now kicking myself for that decision.
