I hunted the foodplot for the first time this year. It's about 200 yards from the stand I've been hunting and shot my deer out of. We have 6 rows of corn on each side for cover, beans in the middle, and 2 long throw and grow roads. I only saw 2 does last night, but it will be good in a couple weeks. My neighbor hunted my other stand tonight and saw a 6 and 7 point heading towards the foodplot, but I couldn't hunt tonight. Depending on the wind and the homework and mom factors I'll be hunting tomorrow evening.

Hey guys, everyone probably knows this, but to enter a deer you MUST enter 2 photos of the you the deer and the bow in the same picture. You must also provide the rest make/model, Arrow make/model, Bow make/model and the broadhead make/model/weight.
Again, Im assuming everybody knows all this, but I just wanted to be sure. Goodluck guys.

Thanks for the reminder on the photos Shane but listing your gear is optional (see rule #5 below)

    5. If possible, provide a list of the following information along with your harvest photos. We want to know what kind of gear everyone is using. This is optional. If you don't list your equipment, your deer will still count.
    Bow Make/Model
    Broadhead Make/Model/Weight
    Arrow Make/Model
    Rest Make/Model

yeah, I saw that, I worded that wrong. I meant you only MUST upload 2 photos. Thanks for the clarification.

Just had a doe and a fawn at 14 yards. The fawn had fading spots and was awfully small so I elected to pass

Saw this Buck and another really checking scrapes Friday night, then last night my friend saw a 140 following two does, and this a.m. we saw three smaller bucks chasing a doe, and a big Buck with nose to the ground

Man all my buck activity is still at night. I have several bucks and does working a scrape but not chasing yet here.

If the fawn would have been bigger I would have shot the doe. The fawn was just a little to small for me

Well I guess I lied. Just saw a small basket rack 8 point (illegal in Texas) with his nose on the ground.
    First buck of the season!
