Hey guys I'm just back from a week long elk hunt which was amazing but did not produce any results. Does anyone know of a decent place I can hunt whitetail in the surrounding states I really need some meat in the freezer!

Nebraska is very affordable and you can buy additional antlerless tags really cheap (comparatively speaking.) They don't have a ton of public land, but it is there if you look. My experience with the WMA outside of Lincoln was that in archery season I was usually the only guy out there. It got pretty crowded during the firearms season though. Good luck.
