First off I would like to stress that this is in fact for trail cameras ONLY, as it is against my morals to bait while hunting. That is my OPINION, and you are entitled to yours. But I'm just curious as to what works best for you guys? Feel free to list your area, and which season/attractant formula works best for you guys!

    Thanks for any input!

I would just get a few jars of peanut butter to pull in all kinds of critters to get on cam

I am in southern Indiana. The apple-flavored deer corn from Orscheln seems to work just fine for me.

I have used a different number of feeds/attractants and it is still the one that seems to work the best.

Thanks for all the feed back fellas! I do use corn and have my own mixture of trace minerals. I'll be sure to try these different suggestions though!!

Just merely for attarcting them in for pictures: Apples!

For also supplying nutrients and attracting: Monsterraxx (I sadly have to tear mine up each year though due to IN laws)

My in-law's have a couple of apple trees in their yard. I'm waiting for the apples to start dropping so I can dump them in front of my trail cam. You can't beat free food for the deer.

Yeah our local high school as an old abandoned orchard on a chunk of it...we grab buckets and buckets full and put them in the garage with fan on them (keep flys off more) and take them out throughout August and September up till you can't anymore in IN.

    Apples
    Corn
Monster Raxx minerals and liquid attractants. Apple Harvest is my favorite :)
I've also had great success with using corn with a coat of the Apple Harvest attractant. You can smell it 50 yards away and the deer love it!

Corn seems to work best but it's gone quick and we typically will just get a bunch of pics of coons. We've used a combination of deer cane and/or a trace mineral lick and it seems to pull them in year round. We just refresh the sites as needed.

Corn & Apples here. Corn pretty standard & regular. I put out apples when I get em. I usually get a lot of action after taking some apples out. I will usually take a few of em, & cut up in half when I put em out. Really gets the aroma of the apples out there. The apples never last 24hrs. Doesn't matter if I put out a dozen apples, or a 5gallon bucket full. They are gobbled up immediately.

I just don't a great supply of apples available. I get some from time to time but, usually only get a bucket or two at a time, a couple times a year. I ain't buying apples to give to the deer. I just get a few from a couple of people that have apple trees.

As previously stated, corn always works. I've also had good luck with alfalfa and trophy rocks.
