    Whats your drink of choice?
Im pretty boring nothing exotic or high end.
Bulleit rye is easy to get and easy to drink and makes a good old fashioned

After that I seem to like sweeter options, bourbons, high corn content

Coopers Chase Bourbon made in Nebraska is a good on hand bourbon.

Lazy RW straight corn whiskey is sweet sweet sweet but nice.

Woodford always a good go to.

Will be bringing a bottle of homemade mead a bottle of bourbon to deer camp, just what bourbon???

Woodford Double Oak is my upper shelf
Jim Beam Double Oak is cheap and damn good. I keep that on hand more than anything.
There is a local distillery by making my favorite bourbon as of late: https://leatherwooddistillery.com/
Bourbon is kind of pricey but it's damn good.
Seriously, try the Jim Beam double oak, its very good and probably a good deer camp drink. https://www.jimbeam.com/bourbons/jim-beam-double-oak/

Almost forgot: Blanton's is damn good but expensive: https://www.blantonsbourbon.com/

Tried it, it is overpriced for the quality. I felt I could get a better bourbon from a lower shelf. It didn't impress me, took a long time to kill the bottle.
I also think Angels Envy is overpriced for the taste.

Bookers is great, but it is definitely a slow drinking bourbon.

I keep a bottle of Vanilla Beam on hand for an easy tasty drink.
Eagle Rare, Buffalo Trace, Blantons, and Four Roses are my staples when I do get some.

For a upper medium end Blantons is my favorite, by far. Eagle rare or Henry McKenna also really good.

Basil Hayden is a great drinker on the lower end, as is templeton (if you like rye, which I love.)

My favorite for higher end right now is Blood Oath Pact 6. Fantastic. Jeffersons Ocean varies quite wildly on which voyage you are drinking. Jack Gold is also remarkably good. Redbreast is always an old favorite. I've drank the higher end Pappys as well, have yet to find a reason to spend that sort of money on whiskey. [IMG]

I have had a glass of Pappy Van Winkle and I know it's blasphemy but I don't see a justification to spend 2k on a liter.

Same. I mean it was good, but was it really 2k or 5k a bottle good? I'd rather have a new gun.

I don't have the most sophisticated palate but I enjoy Michters Small Batch(and their Sour Mash when I can get it), Eagle Rare, Woodford Reserve, and Wilderness Trail. I have some Bookers that I have been sipping on from time to time too. I picked up some Elijah Craig small batch the other day but haven't opened it yet. I hear its decent for the price.

On a somewhat related note. I have been making some really nice clear ice with a tray I pick up off amazon. I don’t remember the details but it says Clearlyfrozen.com on the side. I think it was around $30? Easy no hassle.

That's awesome, as long as you don't put that fancy ice in a glass with scotch

Whiskey is amber colored for a reason. Get that clear crap out of my glass.

Yeah, for that price I could get a bottle of Whistle Pig and 80 acre lease.
