It seems my whisker rest puts small holes and tears onto my fletchings. Are there anyways to fix this, and will those small tears make a big difference in the performance of the arrows?

also Any other arrow rest suggestions if my main intention is bow hunting and I put in about 5+ hours of practice a week?

    From your friendly nieghborhood noob.
    Thanks

I have never had one rip holes in fletchings but, they do mark up Blazers and other vanes I've shot pretty bad. I like a WB but, if you shoot a lot a good fall away would be beneficial.

Depends in the amount you would be willing to spend on a rest as to what I would recommend. If you want a wallet friendly drop away, I'd go with something along the lines of a NAP Apache.

QAD and Ripcord both make good rest. There are a multitude of other companies out there that make good rest in all different price ranges really.
