***Whisker Biscuits & Gravy - Team 27***

I was out this weekend to check out the new property. I was shown the property lines and I put out a camera by a creek crossing where there are a few paths connecting into one. So I'm hoping I'll see something on there. I'm going back in a couple weeks to get into the timber and check the cam. It looks really promising. I'm really excited to hunt there this year.

Thanks guys, been trying to get that name for a team for three years now! Think we got a good bunch of guys here. Anyone hunting multiple states this year?

 

No problem lol I'll be hunting for deer in IL the majority of the time. Very small chance I go to WI to hunt deer. I will haven't plenty on my plate here though. I will be going to MI and WI to duck hunt though. It's not going to add points for us but I'm excited.

Where are you looking to lease? You could go public land.

 

Yea.. I got MA and CT.. My buddy has been sending me pictures of his lot for the past couple weeks. He has stands all over. I'll be doing some scouting hopefully tomorrow on my new MA property, got a farm that has a deer issue they said.

 

WV, Ohio and KY for me with an elk trip to Colorado. It will be busy this fall. Checking all my stands in WV now and hanging a couple of more in some areas that I have wanted to put some up for a couple of years but just couldn't get to it.

 

I'd say that's a very busy year! Here's to you not having to eat any tag soup this year!!!!

 

VA and Ohio. Sent 6 cameras to landowner in OH last week. Been so hot here in VA this old man has not felt like putting cameras out in VA. Got a break this week maybe I'll get some out if hand that I just had surgery on will let me.

 

Just Missouri for me. I hunt at my dads place when I can and then on a 10 acre lot my in laws own when I don't have a whole weekend to hunt

Looks like we are buying a 5 acre lot to build a house on near Oshkosh Wisconsin. Its mostly wooded and has a nice natural funnel through it. Should be able to hunt it a few times this fall I hope.

I'd like to be within an hour or two from St. Louis. I've been meaning to look into the public land options in case I can't find a lease. Any suggestions on public tracks?
