Actually had to pick the antlers up from the taxidermist in order to rescore the buck. Rescored him yesterday and just posted. His official gross score was 163 even. I just got it posted but I copied the pics from the team page and noticed that it just gave links back to the team page pics. I hope that suffices but if not I'm sure a mod will let me know. Leaving tonight after work for my elk hunt in Colorado with my brother and his son and be gone for about 10 days. Wish everyone luck in my absence.

Had 3 follow me to my stand yesterday morning.. 1 came in to about 15 yards, but it was still too dark to shoot, I could get an outline and I heard them. I only have buck tags in MA, so wanted to be sure what I was shooting. Then, about 1.5 hours later I had a 4-pointer come through the field, but only came in as far as 80-yards. Another 20 and I would have been shooting.. Nothing this morning other than freezing my &#@ off..

Our thread looks like it's been going through the October lull! I haven't had much luck this year. Had a 110inch 7 pointer come in one afternoon and a decent buck come in this morning. Starting next week I will be moving from hunting the 9 acre and 15 acre properties that I have permission to hunt and will be hunting a multi-thousand acre privately owned land. I was one of 20 people drawn to hunt this property. I guess I just won the hunting lottery! I'll keep you updated on how it goes!!!
Good luck to all, the pre-rut should be heating up with some cruising bucks showing themselves. I have a doe still to contribute but I am going to wait until after the rut and it gets a little colder before putting a pin on one because I prefer to let the meat hang a little bit. It has been unseasonably warm here with only a few days that have made it seem like hunting season. Still have plenty of leaves on the trees that have not even turned color yet. We are about 1 to 2 weeks behind in the leaves falling or so it seems.
Ive only been out a few times. The river flooding us out earlier in the month really broke my spirt and plus the warm weather is not helping. I'm back at it tonight and will be hunting hard from here on out. Good luck fellas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
