No you're fine. I got a couple while it was hanging in the garage. I got it scored and it was just a hair over 82. Not huge but I didn't care about the score.

Congrats Oly, been gone this weekend and just got home and saw your posts and pics and read the story. Awesome job and terrific deer.

 

Yeah me too, haven't been on the forum in a couple of days. Was hoping your hunt went better than mine, turns out it was a lot better than mine! Congrats Oly

 

Well things are looking up for me. Lots of deer on camera. A ton of small bucks and one big buck.

 

I hunted for the first time Friday night. Saw a spike, 6 point and a doe fawn. Good first sit.



I'm taking my oldest next weekend and he wants me to shoot something with him. I'll have tough decisions to make if one of those smaller bucks come in. Sometimes kids overrule big bucks.

 

Where you have your camera set up is a very pretty view! Those are some nice pictures. I might be in Wisconsin the last week of November. Let me know if you need any help deer management.

 

Checked cameras last friday and I got a few more pictures of the buck I'm hunting. We call him "The Big 10", mainframe 10 point with a couple kickers. Last pic was 8/29 though, so still no hard antler pics of him

 

Thank you guys! Glad I could be the team out. I want to get a doe on ground for sure still. And if nice buck comes though I'll take him too.

Sounds like a nice first sit for sure. Should be a fun sit with your kid. Maybe a doe will give you a shot first.

Assuming all of the other teams have correctly updated scores we are technically in second place with 292 points. When we add the two bucks that have been shot on our team. Its really early and its all in good fun but we are in second!!!!

 

You can almost count on some points from me. At least I hope so.

 

Got the buck entered. You're right it's still really early. We are off to a good start.

Just by looking at the schedule I won't be back in the tree stand until Halloween. So I won't be any help point wise until later this year. I'll be going after some ducks. Can we get 5 points per duck? Lol

Sat in the stand again and nothing.. decided to walk an area around where I was and found this. With tons of lanes and trails that avoid all the stands the other guys say are top sites.. after what I saw I'm not thinking so..
