I have used both and can't say anything bad about the WB other than it will eat fletching eventually and the Ultra Rest won't. If you can afford the Ultra Rest go for it, mine came on the bow I have now. I'm not a fan of extra mechanical things in bowhunting it just means more to go wrong or fail, but I've never had a failure yet with the Ultra Rest. It is truely Quality Archery Design.

I also have used both and the biscuit after being wore down a little started sqeeking when arrow was drawn through. I had a 12 point buck look at me when I got to half draw then trotted off. He heard the noise come off the biscuit when I started to draw back. I now have a QAD Ultra Rest and would not shoot any other rest as of right now.

I have seen failure with the QAD. IMO between these two, I'd be putting the WB on.

I was shooting a WB and decided to upgrade to the ultra, didn't take into account that I would have to move my nock point up a little to allow for enough clearance for the fall away to not slap the riser. So long story short I went back to my WB and the next time I have the string replaced or tuned I'll have the nock point moved up.

I just switched last season to the ultra rest from a WB. IMO both are great rests. The WB does have a tendency to make noise when you draw and will do some damage to your veins over time but other then that its a great rest. The Ultra rest is quiet but takes a little time to get it set up correctly. AS for the problem with the fork hitting the shelf on your bow, raise your knock point and try adding a little strip of felt to your shelf where it was making contact to quiet it down. If you go with the ultra rest get the PRO LD,HD. It costs a little more then the hunter but is well worth it in the long run. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HUNTING!

I'd be wondering why your nock point was that low to begin with. Where does your arrow cross the riser in relation to the berger holes?

I had the same problem with the cheetah I had to move my nock up a little higher than normal while the rest aligned the arrow with the berger holes. My maxxis on the other hand has better knock travel and I had no problem setting it up.

I shot a WB for a long time and never had any issues with it...I did evetually use a razor and cut out sections for the vanes to pass through to eliminate the drag of the vanes passing through and to prevent them from getting worn...again, I never had any issues with the WB and I shot well with it.

Just don't cut out the stiff black bristles at the bottom of the rest (obviously).

I've used both in some pretty extreme conditions and never had a problem with either one. I will say this though; get the most expensive WB for the ease of adjustment it gives you or get the QAD with the lockdown (LD) you won't go wrong with either one.
