I just ordered a Sage and am excited to get it in my hands and really start practicing hard. Hopefully to be able to take it in the woods this coming season!

I have a spare WB laying around. Can I use that as a rest on the bow? Google isn't turning up much.

Don't make us pull your red neck card Bob. Anything can be done ( might not be pretty)

Can be done with the right mounting bracket. I've seen a few recurves over on the big river site that come with a WB rest.
The WB they sell for recurve/longbow have a different mounting bracket than those sold for compound bows.

Not sure I would install any type rest that didn't allow me to sight down the arrow or see the arrow tip.
But that depends on how you shoot I guess.

I used a springy rest like this

You're right, Google doesn't show much. I'm gonna get a cheapo over here in UK. Delivery is about a week though. Will let you know when I shot a few arrows through it

Well now, WB arrived and I couldn't even fit it. ARM isn't long enough for 2 screws. Mind, it's NOT the proper WB, just a Chinese cheapo.
