The noise is most likely with the arrow you are using. Any of the "slick" carbons (like a Beman, etc) make ZERO noise with a WB. Some arrows do make a slight noise, but to what degree it matters - who knows for sure. This issue has been debated for years, and I haven't ever really heard a factual answer to quieting this noise issue, short of using a slick carbon that I know works.

I have used a bunch of rests over the years, and honestly...I used to think the WB was stupid, and couldn't possibly be better than a drop away. That was until I tried one. Now I use one. For a hunting bow, it really can't be beat. Not saying there aren't some great drop aways and other types....but a properly tuned bow with a biscuit is a great setup. No hassles, no issues, no worries....and I'll contend, NO disadvantages at all.

Yes this works. I just put on a new WB and had a lot of arrow noise squeaking on the draw. I rubbed the black rest whiskers with a q-tip only as to not interfere with any of the brown whiskers where the arrow passes through. Now I have no noise and I've put about 100 arrows through without yet having to "recharge" with another rub from the qtip.

As far as the full concealment talk goes, when still hunting or stalking where I have to bend under and around limbs and what not, it is a pain if you always have to hold the arrow into place. For my style of hunting- I prefer the whisker bisket. Not saying its better, for extra long distances, fall away rests are more accurate. Field and stream did a test a few months ago and found this to be the case. But the accuracy improvement wasn't enough to brag about. The WB is still very accurate out to 60 yds and beyond. So really what it comes down to is personal fit and hunting style.

I'm not going to change rests just yet because this is the only complaint i've had with it. I'm probably just thinking about the noise, therefore i notice it more. Ive shot several deer using it and those didn't seem to notice any noise[/QUOTE]

Honestly, the noise isn't a MAJOR issue. Deer will stop and look around, but when it makes the noise you would have them on the other side of your sight anyway. :p

Yep, works great but I still can't keep the cotton to stay on.
Problem is all the camo wrap they use on the arrows now. My Bemen's ICS Hunters are smooth up front so no noise with them.
