I've been telling people, once I retire and live a lot slower pace, I'm getting a regular cab big old blocky truck like the two you pictured. Just me, a dog, and some coffee. Haha

I love those styles. I've always been a ford man. My first truck I got back in high school. It was a 86 ford f150 regular cab and long bed. Had the 300 straight 6 with a 4 speed. What a great truck

But just think how much you would look like John Travolta as "Bud" from Urban Cowboy in that ford Sota:rolleyes:

I had a 1983 that I bought from my grandfather when I went to college. I drove until the engine went out. It wasn't worth fixing as my wife and I had just had our first kid and I needed a vehicle safe to drive a baby in. Man, I miss that truck.

I learned to drive stick on my dad's 1980 Ford F-250, so I would have to go with the Ford.

I bought a brand new one in 1984 that look exactly like the one in the picture.

Owned it until the wife got pregnant with the second kid in 1986.

Really wish I still had that truck today!

I hated the sound the starter made in those trucks.
