VaporTrail for me. Comes fast, accurate (to spec) and at a great price. I've abused every set I've had and the only one I've thought about replacing is the one on my faithful 2010 SWAT, it's been more than abused.
I'm running Korbin Strings on my bow, about time for a new one; I think I'll order another. http://www.korbinsarchery.com/ I had one before from a builder somewhere in Indiana or Iowa (can't remember) but it was a good string too. Years ago, I would build my own at the shop (back then they were Dacron)
I use first string. It helps that they are local and can build a set and I can have them the next afternoon. however, I was extremely pleased with them, looked great, held up well, great quality. I think the bone collector guys use them as well, but not for certain.
There are certainly some better than others. The stinkers tend to get called out, and not last too long. There are a lot of really good string builders out there. The fella that I use makes a good string. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to install one from another reputable builder. I like to support a local small businessman, especially when I get a good product for a good price. :D All you need in this life is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure - Mark Twain
I like my own! Ha! seriously there are a lot of good string makers out there. It is all in how you build. Hutch
