I shoot magnums and love them! Not only do they fly like my field points, but they leave awesome blood trails! Makes finding the deer a lot easier!

I think standards or magnums and whichever one you get the best price on...I just bought 6 magnums on E-bay brand new in packs for $36 : )
Guy had em for $24 or make an offer...made an offer for $18/pack and I got em.
Got two packs of standards on their last year for like $10-15 each
They fly great and put a nice diamond shaped hole in a deer...would you rather have a 2" slit or a big open 1 1/8" hole???

I like the standards. Believe you will be pleased with whichever one you go with. .

I like the standards . I've only shot a couple deer with them so far, but huge holes and great blood trails.

My feeling is the smaller the blade the deeper the penetration and less drag flying through the air.

I got these for my trip out to Ks. to get the most penetration possible in those big bodied deer.

I use both the 125 and the 150 gr. heads - both give great results

Magnums have served me well! I like the little bit of extra cut, while the grizz tricks might be too much leading to a loss of penetration on an off shot.

I shot the magnums last season and got a nice buck. Awesome blood trail and very durable broadhead. Gonna try grizztricks next season just to see if they do any better.

If I shoot tricks I usually shoot the magnums. I like how the blades lock in.

I've shot a lot of stuff with all the standards, mags and grizz. I prefer the standards or mags, not a lot of difference there. The grizz make bigger holes but never did fly as true at long distances.

Magnums and standards preform the same for me. I've used the Mags for 4 years now and would recommend them

Magnum fan here as well, very happy with them and I see no reason to change.

I just recently, as of yesterday, purchased a 4pk. of slick trick mags. I've been reading a lot of informative info on the ST's. My curiosity got the best of me, so I purchased them. The standards were out, so the 100gr Mags was available. I'm looking to obtain more penetration using the ST with the CX PTX's. Hopefully with a tot gr wt. of 450 with the ST mags, I'll be giving the hogs & deer the bedtime blues!:bhod:

Whichever ones you can get cheapest...I found some 3 packs on Ebay for like $10 last year
The standards and magnums are same same IMO the extra teeny bit of blade doesn't do much. The deer are just as dead with standards.

I have used the magnums with great results. They fly fantastic and make great blood trails. You will be happy with whichever you choose.
