A- Doe at 20 yards you fatally wound and she drops in her tracks and expires quickly. (that being whether you send more arrows or not.) B- Doe at 20 yards you fatally wound and she runs and expires within sight. C- Doe at 20 yards you fatally wound and she runs out of site, you hear no crash but you know she's not going far. Myself, I kind of like C. I enjoy the "tracking" part on a deer your sure to find, Kind of part of the hunt. I know we want our deer to expire as quickly as possible but after that arrow is loosed we have no control over what happens from there. Now, If it were a big buck I think I would chose A or B for the reason I don't think I could handle the suspense.
Typically B., but I like the C. option as well just to keep my tracking up to par for the season, and seasons to come.
Jeff you very well may be right, I hope that doesn't happen, because I do love that feeling of walking up a blood trail and seeing that white belly just in front of you.
Well for me i would like choice A(being on crotches it makes things alot easyer) but pnce i get my legs again choice B would do.
Anyone care to guess what I would choose (right now)? It's a no brainer for me A or B. As Jeff said, C will make me nervous.
I'll agree C is awesome, but B is my favorite by far....I LOVE watching the animal going down. It allows you to witness the final step of the hunt!
A little of both. I love taking up a blood trail after playing the waiting game of when to start on it. Then looking up and seeing the animal down. Also, it is pretty hard to beat being able to watch a deer take off and tip over from your treestand.
No i meant that Choice A easiest right now because im on crotches, No way i hate those freaking things.
